Dude, relationships are so overrated.

You don't have to do things like kiss, or have sex to be happy.

Find something you enjoy doing, and take that as your reason to continue living, whether you play an instrument, or do a sport.

Just make at least one close friend, and that's all you need.

I know exactly how you feel. I too have felt like dieing or killing myself in the past year. I am 22 and never had a relationship or friendship with anyone. I still feel a little bad, but I have started taking St. John's Wort and it really works well for me. Reduces the anxiety I typically have and makes me feel like I have a normal level of anxiety and has helped me learn a few things and push myself into talking to people, but I have yet to make a real friend or get a girl to like me. You have to push yourself out there. If dating is something you feel you are ready for put yourself all over the internet on those free dating sites like Plentyoffish.com or okcupid.com or something similar. Lots of girls on those places and its free. Someone will talk to you there if you are really pushing. Also try throwing some messages around on Myspace or Facebook to people you may know in class. Maybe they will talk to you. You have to bend a little and push your self more. I know its a very hard thing to do, but its worth it. Eventually you can find someone to talk to if you push yourself more.

As someone who started their first relationship at 31 and rarely dated before that., I'll have to disagree. Not saying it's easy, but I've never let my sexuality define me. The good parts are very good and the rest will pass.

I believe it does. What life? A life of social ineptitude? I am going to be alone the rest of my life. What I am going to do when I am 30, 40, or 50 and say I've never had a girlfriend. After the age of 25 if I don't find a girlfriend it will be too late.
I thought exactly the same when I was 20 years old. Same when I was 21 and 22. When I was 23 those thoughts were no longer justified. It's the way it goes, until you've had a relationship you've had none, every moment after that, you've had one. Sounds obvious? Consider how that works logically when moving from you've never had a relationship to you will never have a relationship. You are very likely drawing false inferences.

Not only that, relationships are overrated compared to how you probably perceive them currently. The main advantage of a relationship currently would be removing your obsession with them.

Still, I know if was hell, I'm just saying that the hell you currently undergo may yet pass, you do not know yet. I doubt that in any way dulls your pain but it hopefully at least suggests suicide might be unjustified currently.

Aww hell, he's completely fine if his physical health is good. Look at me... My left leg is broken! Mental problems are a bunch of BS because some people are too immature and selfish. Can you move your body without any restraints, like stiffness or pain or broken bones? Can you walk without the need of supportive apparatuses? Can you do normal everyday things that require all of your limbs?

I can't now... I have to wait a couple of months for my body to heal up or so.

I am tired of seeing all these stupid, selfish crybabies not realizing how good their lives really are. Mental problems... The only way you can cure YOURS is to help yourself. Physical problems requires outside support as well as your own. If you're paranoid or bipolar... I guess they will have to either get you committed or prescribe medication that turns you into a zombie!

Better to be a zombie than a b***h like my mother was, eh?

Hell if I could swap having a broken leg for being as screwed up mentally and emotionally as I am ... hell take a kidney, the second leg, and half a lung. Broken limbs heal maybe not as strong as before but they heal over time. Mental and emotional issues for most people almost never go away. I struggle with trauma I endured when I was 12 more than ten years later. I can't talk to a girl without freezing up and I ride an emotional roller coaster that meds can barely keep contained.

Don't compare a mental disorder to having a broken leg. If you want to make a meaningful comparison try having someone get their arm blown off or have a stroke which destroys the left side.

Immature and selfish? Hell if all you have to worry about is a broken leg then your a much more a child than he is no matter how trivial his issues might seem to you.

Hi Praetor2379 Glad to "hear" from you! :D

Many people , especially in late teens and in the twenties , are mixed up, both NT's and ASD's alike. This girl is demonstrating her own inabilities to cope, not with you specifically but with life.

I also have food sensitivities and need to eat in, so am I correct in assuming that you don't live at home with you're family?

I don't know why this girl has stopped talking to me all of a sudden and is now sending me mixed messages. Its hurting me so badly. I told her that I was sorry for misunderstanding her and even told her I have a condition that makes it difficult for me to interpret other peoples motives. I did not specify that I had AS.

A mistake there is that you keep communicating with her yourself. Give it up and look elsewhere.

Praetor you burnt your bridges with her and now your stocking her on facebook, leave her alone.
Then you say your going to hurt yourself to gain sympathy, yet here you are, your playing with
peoples emotions and fears by making threats of suicide for nothing more then wanting some sort
of attention, guess what, people who commit suicide don't go advertising it with such drama, and I
am speaking from personal experience having lost a close family member.
