May your friend find eternal peace, joy, and salvation in heaven for he is now with God and he shall suffer no more.

THE EIGHT BEATITUDES OF JESUS

"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Gospel of St. Matthew 5:3-10

I'm sorry about the news. Love can do strange things to people, and it's too bad that your friend has to die this way. I've lost many friends for various reasons, over the past 11 years, some due to suicide. I'm sorry about your loss.

I am so sorry to hear that. Can't imagine losing my best friend, you were very brave sticking by yours right til the end, you must be a very good person to have around.

I hope the pain goes away soon so you can rest. After all, your friend is at peace now.

Remember, we're all here for you.

I am sorry your friend did not make it.

Take some time to make a scrapbook remembering the things that made you friends. Write down the good times you had together. Friendship is a special thing and should always be remembered.

That is so stupid that he had to die for some girl. When I wanted to die, I would always pin it on world events-I tried to cut my throat over the Persian Gulf War in 1991, the day the US invaded. I also jumped off a second floor balcony of the cheap motel I was living in after 9-11, I landed on my arm and broke it. Somehow, I felt more justified in dying "for the good of the nation" than over a girl that I liked or something. Teen love is so out of proportion to reality, teen guys kill themselves over teen girls all the time, and they don't realize that they will get over the girl but when you're dead you're dead. I'm sorry that he had to die over something so insignificant. I hope she's sad that she killed your friend over a relationship.

I'm really sorry to hear this, I lost mine almost ayear ago, It wasnt a big surpriuise, he new it for months but even knowing that it would happen, even knowing it will be soon does little to dull the shock. Do what you can to make his last momnets easir, and make sure you tell him what you want while you have the chance

I'm truly sorry for your loss. I hope his soul rests in peace and that you move on. He wouldn't want you to dwell on it.

wow that's great news I'm glad.

It leaves me a bit curious how he recovered though, what happened.
(Don't take it the wrong way, just my curious brain acting out, you don't have to elaborate if you don't want to.
It's just good he's back.)

SoulcakeDuck, never underestimate the power of prayer and healing.

No disrespect meant to you nor Shenzie, for the support you've given her and what she had to endure.
But I'm no person of faith, never have been so that leaves me questioning what happened and how it all developed from the point when Shenzie informed us of that he had passed, maybe I'm prying all to much but when i cannot wrap my head around it I tend to seek out more detailed information, forgive my rudeness as this surely is a delicate matter, it still leaves me wondering.

Or maybe we'll just leave it at, all is well that end well...

I shall leave this thread before I turn this celebratory moment into something misunderstood and rude.

Hope everything is well Shenzie.

I hope your friend realized that he has a second chance... a brush so close to death should not be taken lightly. I was pronounced dead after my motorcycle accident.. I am very glad they were wrong.

Your friend needs a lot of help, more then you can give. He needs a professional to help him gain his self worth. Your being a good friend and being by his side will do wonders. But unless he faces his demons, something like this will happen again.

I am very happy he made it.
