I feel this way too. I can't wait to get done with finals, so I can relax. :)

I dont think I'm gonna do with finals this week.

I've been having some severe mental and emotional breakdowns all of last week which hindered my ability to do anything...

...and now it looks like it's all gonna continue into this week too.

i felt that way too but i turned it around by being confident in myself

Ok I just got back from finishing my last final and I'm now really pissed off and upset that I wont obtain a passing grade because of it...

I must vent

Do you think it's really fair for a teacher to give you a study guide and let you do it open note, but then give you a test where 50-70% of the questions consist of stuff that you weren't told to study for?! That's really unfair to me...especially since she did that on a five point essay question. There was absolutely nothing on the study guide that said we had to know anything regarding that last essay question (which I didnt bother answering cause I couldnt) and I'm wondering if I got a faulty out-of-date study guide to begin with or if she made last minute changes to the test without notifying her students! I'd would rather she gave us a study guide with exactly the material we have to study for and not make it open note so at least I know what I'm doing!

On the other hand...I got back my project that's worth 10% of my entire class grade and got a 100%. I was not expecting that at all. That could be the thing that save me from getting a C- in the class or maybe not.

Either way, I'm still pissed off about that final.

Man I don't get study guides for anything

I have my last final 5 1/2 hours from now. It's nerve racking because we won't even know where we stand in the class until we get there, as we still haven't gotten back our last paper which is 15% of our grade. Not counting that paper (which I'd guess I got a B on, as that's what I got on the last one) I have a 90% on the nose in the class, so I basically need to get an A on the final.

It sucks too cause the material is pretty easy but the grading is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes I get points on tests taken off for using examples straight out of the text, not because the professor thinks we should use our own examples, but because she considers the text to be "wrong" (and of course she doesn't explain these perceived flaws in the text, we only find this out when we get our scores back).

So basically my grade won't depend much on how prepared I am, but rather how the professor "feels" like grading my answers.
