actually, there are lots of cute clothes. But you'd have to have confidence or comfort in your own skin to wear them. Which I don't.
Besides, this is no longer a world where only skinny people get to look hot. Or at least it shouldn't be.

I usually dress in a very formal presentation style. It helps with my confidence. I used to be pretty shabby, so I had to swing to the other pole in order for my belief in myself to rise.

Really? Because when I'm out shopping, most of the plus size clothes I see look like they're made for grandmas. The others cling to my belly so bad I look pregnant. :(

I tend to studiously avoid clothes shops. To begin with, I don't like shopping for the sort of things that fashionable clothes shops sell. On top of this, vast crowds and blaring music seem to be two universal features, which makes even the briefest visit descend into sensory hell. I generally become confused and uptight very quickly, and run away empty-handed...

I don't mind shopping for clothes, and I need to buy some new clothes. The clothes I have are too big for me, and aren't really in style anymore. You need to dress for both comfort and appearance. Because lets face it, who are you going to take more seriously, the person wearing a sweat suit, or the person in a suit?

i also hate clothing shopping; the music i can usually deal with and the shops i go to are very rarely crowded, but it's the trying on that i hate, usually.
as for my style; i dress mostly for comfort; blue jeans and tshirts make up 90% of my wardrobe, completed with 2 or 3 sweaters for cold weather, and 1 dress suit in case i need one; but i hate wearing it, it's tight, stiff and generally uncomfortable, even without the neck-tie (i usually leave the shirts top-button opened when wearing a tie, if i dont i get an instant meltdown...)
