IANAL, but:

In the USA you have the constitutional right to confront your accuser, and due process under the law. So you can't be convicted without a trial (with you there) or without you knowing what the charges against you are or who is making them.

Unless you're a terrorist suspect, in which case the constitution doesn't apply so much.

What good is cash if your in prison? Legal Aid is not allowed to take criminal cases. The court will appoint an attorney to handle a criminal case when the client cannot afford legal help.

Felonies Murder, manslaughter: none; sexual felonies including criminal mistreatment sexual abuse in 1st and 2nd degree, rape, sodomy, incest, promoting or compelling prostitution: 6 yrs. or if victim was under 18 yrs. old at time of offense, anytime before victim turns 24 yrs. old, whichever occurs first; others: 3 yrs.

Misdemeanors Sexual misdemeanors: sexual abuse in the 3rd degree or sending, furnishing, exhibiting or displaying obscene materials to minors: 4 yrs. after the offense is reported or if victim is under 18 yrs. old, upon turning 22 yrs. old, whichever occurs first

Acts During Which Statute Does Not Run Absent state, hides within state, not resident of state; max. extension 3 yrs.

I cant talk about what I think it is because Im scared. I know that I have made mistakes but nothing Ive done even looking at messure 11 offenses even comes close to twenty years and then I think about my uncle who had child porn charges against him and they where going to charge a single count for every picture that he had. that would be 150years worth of pictures. Do you think that is the way they are doing things with me.

its possible, different states handle it differently. its like the teens now adays "sexting" originaly kids busted with that had to file as sex offenders a punishment that has since been dropped.in court its gonna come down to the details, mainly your age at the time and the intent. if you accidently downloaded stuff is better in court than having a hard drive full

It should be how hard it is to do the crime not the amount of the photos he had.

I really hope I dont have to go to prison. fourty years for the things that I have done would be too much. and tell wrong planet that if I had epilepsy these ads whould have gotten too me by now.

with child porn its a really touchy subject. alot of people take this personaly and they aim to cruxcify people as examples.

my uncle only did a year in prison and that was only because he was stupid enough to get DSL whene his probation officer said he couldent have access to the internet

I forgot to mention that I heard them say that they already heard my case and that the trial was over, fourty years.

something else must be going on givin the charges on you im suprised they didnt arrest you. as the trial goes, people can "not" tell you or hide it but in the end you have to physically be there for the trial

if its over then why arent you in prison? if you were sentenced thats it you go from court straight to prison. unless your told by a judge dont believe it, those are the only person whos opinion on this means anything

why whould every body say that it is over and everything and even tell me that I have fourty years as my punisment then? why whould they do that? is it scare tactics to get me to take my pill that is sriviling my testiclse that I am afraid of taking?
