I won because he insulted me. When these (skilled) types run out of options in a debate, they resort to more primitive means to "beat" me.
Sorry, but if you're going to use emotion as a reason for dismissing their arguments then it equally applies to your own claim of "winning" because they did not follow your arbitrary rules for debate. And your opinion is NOT fact, despite the seeming implication of such in your posts. In fact, your opinion has the same value as the other party's in this discussion - no more, no less. He could say that Dave Grohl is the greatest drummer of all time... and while you may have almost unlimited reasons why that isn't the case, it doesn't change the validity of his opinion. Therefore, there is realistically no winner and no loser in such a situation, and claiming to have won only seems to solidify that fact.
