You scare her away? I implied that she was ignorant and she was thanking me for enlightening her the same day. It would take a little more than fat pride to scare her off

I have been wondering where she went too.

Sometimes I disappear for a while because I just don't feel like it.

But wow, lots of rumors being thrown around. They'll start getting more and more ridiculous.

Hopefully, Erisad posts in this thread as soon as she can and will be amused by how far the rumors went.

I heard she went on a magical quest to hunt Osama bin Laden with a samurai sword.

Hmmm, I was thinking about Zen Mistress, she's been away a few days. Hope she's okay.

I bet loads of people just disappear off these forums though.

People usually disappear off these forums when their "main issue" is solved.

And it's usually the same issue that made them believe that they are aspies.

Some of those issues are : not having friends, not having a SO , problems with parents, not being understood by parents...etc


Erisad's main issue was about her not having a boyfriend and her not being liked so much by guys because of her weight.

Now she got a date and so probably a boyfriend ....so the main issue is no more ....so *puff* ,no more WP , she doesn't need it anymore.

Lol, I'm surprised by how much you guys have been paying attention. I'm going to the Renaissance faire then spending the night at my roommate's house this weekend and I have a date sometime when I'm back at school. Wouldn't necessarily say that he's a boyfriend yet, since I've yet to meet him in person. >.>

As for the suicide stuff, I was seriously considering it at the time. I was researching suicide methods but backed out after seeing some grotesque images. Besides, if I were to do it I figure I should at least wait until after my date with the guy, otherwise I'd just be standing him up. How rude!

Didn't I say in that thread that I'd wait until I was 30 to kill myself anyways? I still feel down about the weight stuff though. Curse all that good cooking I had these past few days! I'll have to starve myself for the next few days before I go to faire.

Good for you that you decided not to do it. We worry less now. Maybe this guy will become a regular thing, then all that "I'm so unloved" whining will look pretty silly, although I know you meant it at the time. Getting laid regularly tends to solve a lot of problems in one's life. It seems important to have a relationship in one's early 20s, it probably springs from the biological urge to find a life partner and reproduce to propagate the species. When I was your age internet dating was still pretty crude, and I have a hard time just going out and meeting women (as do all aspie guys), so I was pretty lonely. After age 27 or so the feeling of loneliness went away for the most part.

I just don't want to be the only one out of my friends who's single at that one point in the year where everyone's hooking up. It's not the sexual thing for me, I just prefer cuddling and having an emotional attachment. Granted I'm a virgin but I don't think I'd like sex very much. D:

I love that commercial, even if it's a stereotype of how all Ren faires are. Tights= not the norm! Only nobles wore them. Most Ren actors don't feel comfortable in them and won't wear them unless forced to, which is rare. XD

Well, I have kind of left the board for a while, really, though I am still lurking a bit.

I have written a post about it, but I didnt want to write one of those Goodbye Threads for 2 reasons:

1) The possibility that it would get 3 replies and I would think "What? 3 years here and only 3 people care that I am leaving?"

2) The possibility that someone would call me an attention puppy and say I would be back the next day... it would have deeply bothered me.

I really should have done so though, I hope noone is worried about me, I think I should put something in my sig about it...

My reasons for leaving are because of my visual problems, basically I need to start spending a lot less time on computers as they dont agree with me.

Also I find online posting/socialising addictive. When I am feeling in a better frame of mind I will perhaps start posting again.

I am doing ok, life has its usual crazy ups and downs. On Tuesday, 3 beautiful goat kids were born to Daisy: Eva, Gandalf, and a wee boy which is being bottle fed at a neighbours, they will name him.

So anyway I will be pretty much not around, but all the best to everyone... (sorry for jacking your thread, Erisad)...

It's just that in the last post I saw of yours, you said you were finding life a bit difficult, and then you did say you were going away for a bit, but then later, the thought struck me that you might have meant that in a captain Oates kind of way; i.e. "I am just going outside and may be some time."

I should have tracked back to your last posts before I wrote that. Sorry I broke your hiatus!
