Aspieguy,

Yep, there ARE. But you may ALWAYS find that someone comes to "save" you. That someone may even be YOU! I saw a documentary once of a guy that drank drano. Drano is basically lye, and will eat through organic matter. HE ended up calling 911 or something, and they "saved" him. He lived through the rest of his life, and may still be alive, having to eat and go to the restroom often because his digestion is FAR less efficient, and smaller. You see, IT was destroyed with the drano, and they had to piece together parts they could salvage and cut out what they couldn't salvage.

BTW drano is NOT tasty OR painless, so forget about that.

And most painless and relatively simple ways to kill yourself have been outlawed DECADES ago. There IS a reason why people call kavorkian. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Kevorkian
He only helps terminally ill patients.

As long as people are pointing to videos, listen CAREFULLY to this, and consider the way it was portrayed in M*A*S*H. It later became the music only theme BUT...

Sadly, they don't show the scene that shows what happens. In case you don't know, here it is from wikipedia:

Father Mulcahy, also called "Dago Red" (René Auberjonois), the camp's chaplain, tells Hawkeye that "Painless Pole" Waldowski (John Schuck), the unit's dentist, has consulted him about a problem. Though Mulcahy feels unable to divulge any details (Waldowski had come to him in confession), he makes clear the severity of the problem. Waldowski, the "best equipped dentist in the army", tells Hawkeye that he has suffered a "lack of performance" with a visiting nurse and now believes that he has latent homosexual tendencies. Soon after, he reveals his desire to commit suicide and seeks advice on which method to use. Hawkeye, Trapper, and Duke suggest that he use the "black capsule" (a fictitious, fast-acting poison). At an impromptu Last Supper, Painless takes the capsule (actually a sleeping pill) and falls asleep in a coffin to the strains of "Suicide is Painless". Hawkeye then persuades Lt. Maria "Dish" Schneider (Jo Ann Pflug), one of the nurses who is returning to the U.S. the following day, to spend the night with Painless, thus curing him of his problems.

I've always admired the way M*A*S*H handled this sort of thing, and I doubt it's a coincidence that the scene in that YouTube video (at around 2:10) is a staging of Da Vinci's "The Last Supper", with Painless as Christ.

I find it appalling that you would even ask for help in ending your life.

Instead of putting time and keystrokes into these histrionics, call 911 and have yourself checked in to a hospital on suicide watch.

I'm going to risk coming off as a real asshat here, but people that REALLY want to commit suicide don't worry too much about the pain involved in any particular method. If you are trying to figure out a painless method then you are just dancing around the edges. Do the right thing and check yourself in to a hospital.

This is an internet forum. No one here can help you get better and no one here is going to help you find a painless method to end it. You REALLY want help? Go here:

Yes, there are. Not knowing the rules on talking about them on here I'm going to leave it at that and tell you that if for some educational reason you need to do start by learning what causes death from a medical sense and then figure out what series of events could create the desired effect.

I call troll. If you really wanted to die you a) probably wouldn't be worried about pain and b) wouldn't ask on an Internet forum, because you could find out yourself if you just googled it.

I have a method planned out, there would be a split second pinch then a big mess on the wall and ceiling. There would also be some noise that would disturb the neighbors but it would only be fleeting at best. If you are too stupid to figure out my method of quick death then you my friend are too dumb to use it.

Theres one thing you should remember if you commit suicide the crime scene people will take pictures and video of your suicide aftermath that might end up on the many different sick sites on the internet where people will post silly little comments about your suicide and they will all have a good laugh at your expence.

Okay I know it SOUNDS like he wants to commit suicide but maybe hes just wondering? I've often found myself asking "How can one die without pain?" (Not in that accent but you get my drift) and yet I rarely think of suicide... And when I DO think of suicide its normally in the form of "dying like a warrior" or "dying in battle" in which case I'm day-dreaming of some zombie-apocolypes or alien invasion or something, where I charge into the battle and don't back down, not truly suicide but self-sacrifice none-the-less.

Anyways thats my point, he MAY be asking how to die painlessly but it does NOT mean he wants to commit suicide... Perhaps hes just asking so he can push his end in that direction, should you get what I mean....

I'm not trying to be sarcastic, dense, or insensitive when I ask this, and I feel it's an important question....

Why do you want to know?

I'm pretty sure anyone who actually knows for certain is in no condition to tell you.

I'm sure everyone who has been saying that asking about how to do it least painfully demonstrates that they don't want to do it has plenty of personal experience in this area, but it still strikes me as wrong. It's nice to think that this might be the case, but that doesn't make it so.

The only way that could be valid reasoning is if you construe suicide as an impulsive thing.
