@Sallamandrina, thanks for your suggestions...I will look up Mircea Eliade and see if Amazon has anything he wrote, and some of Stanescu's poetry ought to be available online (I know of several Romanian poetry sites), so I will check that out...you're right. I do love poetry I was pleasantly surprised to see that Amazon had some Romanian language books the last time I checked.

I did some fun things with my kids yesterday and work has been a bit of a zoo, even on the weekend, so it has mercifully kept me from obsessing too much. When I get a few minutes I want to work on my newest videos (like I told Booyakasha I'm actually working on 3 videos) to stay distracted. I also translate for a site called LyricsTranslate.com (song lyrics) and I do that when I need a distraction too.

Oh, CRAP! I can't sleep AGAIN. This sucks so bad. Every time I think things are getting better I start thinking about how things go wrong for me...

There are days I don't sleep for more than 2-3 hours per day, day after day, due to countless obligations, so you're not alone.

Thanks...I just took some natural/herbal sleep stuff and I'm going to try to go to bed again (it's almost 2 AM here). I might try conjugating Romanian verbs in my head in all the tenses (it sometimes works to get the ex and other obsessions out of my brain ) and/or some meditation. I hate the insomnia the worst because it can cause seizures if I get too sleep deprived...argh...

There are always some politician's talks if nothing else works - or you could try with the course in Noam Chomsky's generative grammar I fell asleep 4 times yesterday while trying to memorize it.

I also struggle with insomnia - it's a lost battle for me I'm afraid. Just like Booyakasha, I end up going with little sleep for long periods of time.

I tried exercise, herbal supplements, meditation and several other things - they only help to some extent, relaxing my body a little while the minds keeps racing.

I actually went a day or two without crying about that relationship, and now I'm back crying again This sucks. I try so hard to climb out of this hole and I think I might and then I just fall back in.

Ugh.
