And this is in the Haven why... wouldn't this be better served in PPR?

This is in the Haven because I was ranting and was depressed out of my mind because my main interest - manga and anime - now is illegal to an exceptionally big degree. Absolutely any mildly sexual drawing can be considered illegal, now, since it is all about perceptions (this was clearly stated in the verdict).

Don't get me wrong, REAL child pornografi is an horrible crime. But whoever's making the law has gotten a little fanatic. People who have pictures of their children in the tub can now be considered pedophiles. Which would make most people I know pedophiles. Resources should be but on catching real perverts, like the ones who actually rape and molest children.

I have a full-frontal picture of my second grandson I took in the delivery room of a hospital just moments after birth ...

I would certainly never post that picture publicly, but are you saying I could now be considered a pedophile simply because I have it? And if so, would the hospital staff who allowed me to take it possibly be considered complicit?

In some countries any depiction of children in the nude, weither it is a photography, painting or drawing, is illegal, even if there is nothing sexual in the picture.
Of course having non-sexual pictures of your children/grand-children in the nude does not make you a pedophiles. It's just the law that's messed up.

Nevermind. I'm going to kill myself. I had one interest that I like that is now illegal. In Sweden, people are dumb enough to equal child pornography to all "manga" (the heretical word), and I guess they pretty much are right, considering how the law is written, and now the EU is heading in the same direction. There is no chance for the law being changed because people are too stupid and those who do understand do not want to be seen as a supporters of pedophilia. I'm sure some of you who are reading this already think I might be a pedophile, or maybe a supporter of child porn being acceptable, when I'm against this.

I want to die. I want out.

Before I kill myself, I'm going to make several people hate me. I bet my hairdresser might be for this law...

I know nothing about "manga" ... so are we talking about actual photos or what?

...It's not that I care about what the law says. I couldn't give a fùck what the law says. It's just that I am so tired. So very tired. This was just the last straw...

I am never happy. Last time I was happy was when I was a small child. But manga and anime... it manages to make me a tiny bit happy, at select few times...

I guess I should wait and see what the supreme court says, but honestly, the law is very clear on it. It is illegal with hints of anything sexual in manga and anime, in Sweden, if the character can be "interpreted" as below eighteen, and soon in the whole EU if the EU parliament doesn't stop the commission's latest wisdom.

Honestly, though, I'd rather not wait with dying all too long...

I'm just so tired. I am never happy, anyway. Why go on? I just can't see why. To see what happens at the end of 2012? Haha. I wouldn't give a fùck if an alien knocked on my door wanting to chat with me. It's all pointless, and true love? Haha, maybe in my next life. Maybe. If I would keep living, though, I would snap. Definitely snap. Although, in a good way. But still, even that is pointless.

Sorry, didn't see your post until now.

No. Manga is drawings of a certain type. The image I showed before is one manga drawing. My avatar is so, as well. Astro Boy is also manga. Hamtaro is manga. All child porn, soon, I bet. I mean, I'm sure that one of the human characters in Hamtaro liked a boy in an episode... could be misinterpreted.

I do understand your overall weariness, but surely there will always be some kind of manga you can enjoy somewhere.

This goes for many videogames, as well, by the way; especially Japanese ones.

Not too often without breaking the law. I really like a lot of hentai mangas, especially, but also mild shôjo, but even that is in fact banned. Not that I care about the law, as said, but I just am so tired of humanity. I should NOT have been born on this planet. It doesn't matter living in another country... it's the same, everywhere, in one way or another. I know I don't have it that bad, compared to so many others, but unlike the very vast majority, my mind gets stuck on repeat about everything negative, and I care "too much" about other people for my own good. Which is funny since I also am a rather crazy person. I always am on the edge. My mind always is overwhelmed with thoughts. I always try to balance it, just at the edge of it becoming too much to handle, and as such, I get very sensitive to unforeseen events. But only certain types of unforeseen events; other I handle coldly like a psychopath or something. I wonder how others have it...

Thanks for removing my request, by the way. -_-;; Kind of ironic, in a way, but whatever, won't go into that.

EDIT: Corrected some spelling.

...? What do you mean?

*Moving* to Japan...? It's pretty much impossible to move to Japan. Even people born in Japan don't necessarily have the right to live there, if they are merely half Japanese. Or so I think it was. Anyway, I could never learn Japanese. I could probably learn it if it wouldn't be for the impossible way you write it.

I am curious about that. I once had someone tell me I care too much, but I do not know whether that is/was the same as what you have mentioned.

I have it just like that, and I have been holding up at least well enough to keep hanging in for many years.

Don't kill yourself.

Beside, you still got a internet connection, and the govnerment can't check everything, you can still enjoy manga and anime. Also, there is no way that the french population could accept such a law once they learn it could render illegal some of they beloved old serie, so it can't go evrywhere in Europe.

Try to say to frenchs than this anime is illegal, you're for a LOT of protestation. (Look at 5:00)

I don't know French... you seem to, though... by any chance, would you be willing to post about this on some French manga and anime forum?

Here is that upcoming EU legislation, in French:
http://europa.eu/legislation_summaries/ ... 138_fr.htm

It's the part about fictional characters "below eighteen". It can still be stopped by the EU parliament.

I don't think I'm going to kill myself, after all, by the way. I'm going to become politically active. With my charisma and manipulative traits, I might just get very far.

EDIT: If you (or anyone else, here, who understands French) do post this on some French manga and anime forum, be sure to point out that the Swedish Cecilia Malmström from the EU commission is one of those pushing for this law and its de facto anti-manga/anime elements. Point out how shìtty things are starting to end up in Sweden, thanks to politicians like her.
