have you tried increase the amount of water you drink? A gallon of water everyday will do it.

A gallon of water every day will also make most people very sick. I drink a lot of water (more than most people) and even I can't do that, at least not safely.

I do it when I'm dieting. I mean in small quantities through out the day. Never had a problem.

It probably depends on a person's body mass as well (I'm a pretty small person, with relatively fast metabolism) but you generally have to be in good digestive health to do that kind of thing safely, which, by the sound of it, Jetfox isn't.

Constipation is also related directly to inadequate water intake. “One of the main functions of the large intestine is the process of taking water out of the excrements so that too much of it is not lost in the waste matter after food digestion. When there is dehydration, the residue is naturally devoid of the normal amount of water necessary for its easier passage. Also, by slowing down the flow and further squeezing the content, even the final drops of water will be drawn away from the solid residue in the large gut. Thus, constipation will become a complication of dehydration in the body.” ((Batmangheilidj 1995, p. 34).

When I was skinny I use to get constipated frequently. I would do sit-ups, crunches, and elevated sit ups this seemed to work to clear me up. I also would eat a lot of pistachio nuts that seemed to help a lot.

Ever since I got fat I have only been contipated a few times I guess the extra weight on my diafram helps keeps things moving.

Sounds like she's tried quite a lot actually.
Might be time to take those complaints to a proper doctor, and I reckon keep a Journal of what's going on as evidence, so as to be taken seriously.
