I know how you feel Sweetleaf and I don't blame you. I don't feel comfortable enough here to even try to get support because I'm sure someone will tell me it's part of their collection to prove I'm a whiny troll or some other bully BS. You absolutely cannot have an opinion without people talking behind your back, calling you a b*tch and congratulating each other on making "slams" on the forum. (Yes, I know about it. And those "slams" weren't really slams. They didn't hurt me or bother me, just annoyed me that they couldn't manage to form an articulate and intelligent argument. It bothered me more that they were so proud of themselves, like they'd accomplished something.) And when people are in cliques, they treat everyone else like crap or outright ignore them once their newness has worn off. It's predictable and boring. I'm going to continue to participate here but I understand that this isn't a place for me to form lasting relationships with anyone or find any substantial support. I'd never consider bringing any of my actual problems here. There have been times when the internet has made me cry because of bullying, but I'm 33 years old now and that just aint gonna happen now.

None of you actually give a sh*t so I'm leaving...I thought I would give it a try but whenever i really need help with something no one gives a damn so I don't really see the point in staying on this stupid site. So I hope you all enjoy your lives and forget I was ever here, my future is not promising at all so I dobut any of you will hear from me agian. But I really do hope all of you enjoy your lives I guess its just too late for me so not many people can actually relate...sorry for causing any akward feelings or whatever damage I must have done to be ignored for the most part. But just forget about me and enjoy your lives because they are far more important. I'm just a stupid loser anyways.

oh and sorry if this seems harsh but someone could have at least been blunt and said no one here cares, it would have caused less waste of time on everyones part.

As for everyone who has responded to me and have seen this, thank you for being nice but yeah just admit to yourselves that you would enjoy your life more if you did not have to see my pathetic posts here...........I mean what I have aspergers and cant get a job, I have no reason to exist according to society. I should probably end my life before I do anymore damage, but I just cant't build up the energy to do that.

oh and I am sorry for even posting this, I guess its just a combination of isolation(yes even on the interent) and everythinge else that is taking a hold. So feel free to not care and continue on that is what life is about after all.

I hope you can get past your problems but you can't let yourself be in the way. I know about feelings of isolation and what not and if you've got problems, maybe I could offer some advice or at least try to provide some alternate perspectives on it, but making displays like this is not constructive to anyone; not to you when you need help and advice, not to others who will be alienated by your outburst, and not by the board itself which now has some gooey angst-y drama in it.

Indeed, it does get annoying and people who b*tch behind others backs normally means they mask their own problems...

Anyways, PM'd you SweetLeaf if you ever come back, I will talk to you about anything as I am a nice guy. :)

I've found, as IRL, there are a few people I can talk to and rely on for support, and like IRL, I just have to dismiss the cliquishness and other BS I see as the immature crap that it is. I'm an Aspie and I'm not used to being "popular", never was, never will be, who the hell cares about that bullsh!t anyway? I think sometimes some people, not used to it either, get carried away with it and participate in the cliquishness without stopping to think that it is excluding others.

I'd like to see you continue posting even if you don't get the outpouring of responses some people get (I don't either). It doesn't make your problems less or you less valuable. It may let you know who the supportive people are, though, and who might be a good support person to talk to if you're feeling bad :)

You've been going through it pretty rough lately and I know I've posted on a few of your threads and I have seen lots of others offer encouragement and support. I think, maybe, the lack of a resolution or any 'real' help may be the root of your frustrations. We are all just icons on another screen - other than some encouraging words, there really isn't much we can do but offer moral support from afar.

And you have that - in abundance. And, I'm sure you'll continue to get that should you stay. I feel a bit out of place offering you advice and such because - I'm an old lady. And, from my perspective, you are just a kid - a really sweet, if hurting kid. That age disconnect may also be part of the problem... we old folks can sometimes be real impatient with the trials and tribulations of youth. I would hope my fellow dinos would be a bit more understanding and supportive - because I'm sure they once wished for the very same thing at your age - but, as you've witnessed, you have the full range of feelow human beings here. Sweet loving saints all the way down to miserable crotchitty old windbags and a whole lot in between.

Don't let the windbags chase you off!

I'm wondering - did someone troll you with a negative PM about your posts?

Glad to be back! Someone fixed it for me, and to that person, I am grateful.

I'm sure that Sweetleaf will be back too, just as soon as she works through this particular issue. We've all been there, so I have hope for her.

I have bad depression and AS and i like and identify with your posts because of that. Sorry if i haven't helped you. It's a combination of not seeing or noticing threads due to the gigantic nature of the place or not knowing what to say to help when you do see another person suffering. If i really knew and understood the big answers i'd apply them to my own life.

This 100%. A lot of the time everything sweetleaf writes are things Ive been thinking of, but else can I add to that thread besides "yeah I have that too, help?". So I just monitor them.

I switch between feeling left out because I can't join in the reindeer games the same as others and then wanting to scream For F*ck's Sake Just Ignore Me! because the incessant arguing grates on my nerves. I used to have moratoriums on debating politics and religion on the internet. I think I will expand the moratorium to include all debate on the internet. It's easier to just not respond or correct someone's misunderstanding (especially here where I've been more misunderstood than anywhere else in history LOL). This is why I both empathize and am baffled by Sweetleaf. I couldn't imagine using this place for genuine, deep commune and comfort. There's too many people makin' too many problems. There's not much love to go 'round. I'm already pretty stiff lipped when it comes to my personal problems so I think it's a good lesson for everyone to just keep a lid on it and only share what you wouldn't mind someone throwing back at you as an insult, or making the worst of to others behind your back.

But I do have to say that Starlight-Supernova is, in fact, a nice guy.

I actually think my existance is quite meaningless, I feel like Im just a random loser...how is that even close to thinking the world revolves around me? I am not a narcissist after all.

As for everyone that did not assume I think the world revolves around me or whatever well and even those of you who did...I was actually just pretty frusterated in general I mean I feel like there is no one who truly understands wether its in real life or online and it really got to me hence this rant, also I keep feeling more and more isolated not because there are no people I can hang out with or talk to in RL...but its like no matter how many people I know and enjoy being around I still feel more and more isolated in my mind when I feel numb it does not bother me and is even kind of appealing but when the depression or anxiety kicks in the thought becomes overwhelming. I am not going to actually leave, it is helpful when people do respond and sometimes just posting is helpful to vent. I will however try not to go on anymore rants because it is not very helpful.

This is perhaps the only subforum of a forum available on the internet where flounce posts should be acceptable.

Basically speaking...

10 RANDOMIZE TIMER
20 CLS
100 PRINT "Well! If that's how you feel!"
110 CALL Doorslam$
120 IF (RND=0) THEN GOTO 140
130 GOTO 120
140 PRINT "I'm back! Did you miss me?"
150 END

:D
