While this may be a good question for the sake of discussion, in practical life such a question is of no relevance to me. To me, anyone who is a danger to me and the ones I've been conditioned to love is a bad person.

i believe there are fundamentally bad people, and they are largely those people who are called sociopaths... since approximately 1 in 30 people are sociopaths, it is far more common than autism and asperger syndrome (it can be comorbid with ASD).

there is a fantastic website devoted to understanding the sociopath (link), and it is really eye-opening to understand more about those types. they lack conscience and that allows them the freedom to behave however they feel like, regardless of who gets hurt.

so i gues you could ask yourself... do you care if you hurt people? some people just care because it makes a situation awkward or it prevents them from achieving whatever they want or it makes them look bad, but those types don't truly care about other people's feelings.

Peopel are not bad or good, they just do bad or good things, and that in itself is just a matter of perspective.

I agree with you its the behaviour(s) that can be judgement as good or bad, however most people associative behaviour to a person which then ends with judgements about people.
