I was thinking you might be helped to both relax and to feel your body better through hypnotherapy. I was also going to suggest non-erotic professional massage, but I'm not sure if you'd like to be touched by a stranger, even in a totally non-sexual way. I know both these things also cost money which you don't have at the moment.

I have a very severe form of anxiety disorder (though mine has nothing to do with sexuality), so I do empathize with your difficulties and know how awful it is to never be able to relax.

I think part of the problem may be that men in your age bracket (20's) are essentially immature and hormone-driven. By the time they've reached my age bracket (40's) the majority of them have settled down and behave more decently, and don't have permanent raging erections. I have had better luck dating older men than younger ones.

That's why I have my interested age bracket from 21 - 28 but I am usually talking to the ones closer to the upper end of that bracket. I don't want to get a guy that's too much older than me that we can't relate anymore, like a generation gap or something so 6 years I think is a good gap. My grandma married my grandpa who was 8 years older than her right out of high school when she was thin so I guess she doesn't understand my struggle either. Mom was also thin when she got married so I guess they assume that I can't get married unless I was skinny. If I was like them, I'd be engaged or married with a child already. I would like that but not now. I'm trying to get myself figured out first. I wouldn't want a child to witness her mother being all crazy stupid trying to figure herself out. I want to at least be semi-confident in my identity first. >.<

cdfox7 - Well, I did want to sleep so I count that as a success. :P Yoga Nidra? Will I have to bend myself all over the place like a pretzel? XD

I usually space out and try to create a dance choreography or see myself or friends performing the song. I don't know why. Or I just put a scene to the music. Sometimes it's angry but other times it's really happy.

Hmm...I think I have classical stuff somewhere from the good ol days of band. :)

I think my music is more 100-140 bps if not faster. I'm a hyper child.

lol for Yoga Nidra (sleep yoga) there no bending one my reiki master does that she has a bad back. You just lay down on your back for that its a bit like lucid dreaming.

That type of music you listen to now is great to listen while doing physical fitness, its not suitable to help you relax.
Its just a matter of finding new from new places and you what to listen to now, play then make a note of how you feel when listing to that song then use that to advantage in the future with your emotions. If theres a happy song you found, then your down just listen to that song.

Now its just of the case of trail and error by listening to difference styles and genres of music to find the right songs that work of help you get in the mood you.

@MollyTroubletail am using music here as a form of hypnotherapy plus in the past I talked to Erisad about self massage.

Lucid dreaming is being asleep dreaming being aware that your dreaming and having control of your dreams. Day dreaming is more of an awake dream state the both of them are trance. states.

Okay...my dog has been howling and whining for no reason all day and so I've already had a headache for a while now. Hence why I have been exceptionally cranky today. I'm annoyed that I'm not driving as well as I should by now. I've had 2 official lessons with an instructor and 3 practice sessions with my mom. I was going the speed limit and some a**hole was riding my tail, he was going 60mph in a 40mph lane. If i had slowed down at any point, he would have ran into my mother's car and there would have been hell to pay forcing me to turn quickly into a development so he could pass me.

Yeah, reminds me of when I was trying to take driving lessons. People are nuts out there, I remember getting pissed off about some guy giving me the finger and my mom saying "just ignore them". Whats funny is she's normally more hot tempered than I am.

But yeah I actually suck at driving, even though I have a license. Good luck.

It's so hard to find a place where you can learn to drive without having a**holes on your tail. There's people everywhere! Even at nighttime. Geeeze.

Well hopefully I can get mine and that will be one more step towards my independence.
