More generally, this is another part of Teh Intertoobs. Some persons are going to be bites-in-the-tuchus where they figure there's lesser risk of censure or consequences.

In general, I've found you're generally quite insightful on a number of topics; it'd be unfortunate for you to have to take a break from the forum entirely. If it helps, look at the member counter (it's currently reading ">62k"); I'm guessing you haven't really been bagged on by every single one of them :) It can be difficult not to feel that people are discussing viewpoints that are very personal to you in a way that slights those viewpoints (I think I did that once to you by accident in fact). It might be useful to remember that probably almost no one here knows you all that well. So most folks are literally in no viable position to be able to cast valid judgments on who you are.

i know that i can not help you but i wish i could. there is something about you which makes me sad, and i have read many posts by other people who are not having a good time and they feel very bad, but i usually think i am not able to help them, and i trust that the other posters on WP will come to their aid, and i then look for other posts which i can post in.

there is something different about you. i am not sure whether i am being influenced by your avatar picture, but i read all the things you say, and i feel sad because i can do nothing to help you. i wish i was more intelligent, because there is something about you which makes me think you are truly vulnerable and helpless, and even though you have many people trying to cheer you up, i see that it is maybe not working, and i had a bad dream that you took your life. i dreamed that alex posted a post that said that you had died and it made me feel very sad indeed.

i still have no advice for you, and i know it is none of my business at all, but i do read most things you say and i look for your name (as the last poster in threads (i do not go deeper than that)) when i come to this site. i just hope so hard that you find the way out of your torturous mental prison by whatever means, and i wish for you to be happy sometime in your life.

i do not want a reply at all. i know you would find it hard to formulate one. just please do not give up no matter how hard you see your life. you could be a hero to some if you live through what others may decide is too hard to bear.

i will continue to read what you write, but i will not reply from now on.

Why don't we judge all of the theists while the militant atheist metaphorically stone them to death.
I guess us theists are not welcome here and should be thrown into the internet gas chamber.
Insulting people has nothing to do with theism. Some atheists on this forum are just cruel.

Sweetleaf, I too feel unwelcome on this forum but I have no problem with you.
You don't treat people like crap like many people on this forum do.
I get offended easily and I will assume that you do too.
Some of it is probably paranoia but most of it is insults.
The people that do it are the aspies that lack empathy.

Regardless of my feelings on Sweetleaf's situation, saying stuff like that marks you out as a Class A tool. androbot2084 should be ashamed of himself.

Theists have always been a problem historically. And continue to be.

When the guy is directly using the idea of god/heaven to insult someone, of course it has something to do with theism.

Ugh. Being the haven and all, I don't really see the point in turning this thread into a debate on religion.

Well hey not everyone gets to be born into an ideal situation...so I guess it's kinda sad but I don't want you to worry about it too much, and it's unlikely ill resort to such extreme measures any time soon. If you don't want to reply to any of my comments anymore that's cool though I do post in other forum sections about non-sad things.......but it's up to you I guess I just hope this isen't the case with everyone otherwise it will be quite boring here.

I like Sweetleaf, I do. I get frustrated with her at times, but I like her. I wish she would PM me sometimes. We could talk and become friends.

i am much older than you and i should talk to people closer to my own age. there are many people who are your age and they can be more helpful. i just was influenced by your avatar and i realize i was worried too much about you. i am relieved that you are ok. bye.

well not exactly, I just misread it and couldn't be sure...I've been a bit on edge the last couple days so I get a little too defensive and paranoid

I was neutral before (I apologize if I've said or done anything to offend you), but after reading this thread, I like you more than I did. :D

I can sympathize a lot with where you're coming from. My problem, though, isn't so much what is said as what I imagine is probably being said. I'm incredibly self-defeating so I always think, "what do they say about me in private?" but I grew up with a bunch of confusing histrionic people and that kind of paranoia gets ingrained after a while.
