I remember when I was 15, oh boy, don't want to go back there again. I distinctly remember that's the age when the bullying stopped and everyone started completely ignoring me. Is this what happened to you? I have no idea why the bullying stopped, it just did. Perhaps the other kids outgrew that "let's pick on the weirdo" behavior. The strange thing is that I hated being invisible even worse than the bullying. Maybe this is what you're going through. That summer I decided to do a complete makeover for myself. I studied magazines and started doing my hair, makeup, clothes, everything, even exercise, and when I returned to school (10th grade) I had reinvented myself and it worked out great. People started to notice me, and in a good way. I still wasn't popular per se but I got into a crowd of friends and my life got a whole lot better.
I'm worried about some things you've mentioned here. If you've met someone online and you're planning to meet them in person DON'T! There's a huge chance this person is actually some fat sweaty greasy 40-year-old pedaphile who wants to kidnap you and commit unthinkable crimes. It's okay to reach out anonymously but do not attempt to meet people whom you've met online and don't give them your real name, address, phone, etc. Just put yourself in a 40-year-old pervert's mind for a second. He's trolling for young girls passing himself off as a 16 year old boy. He sees a post that says "I'm lonely" or "I'm depressed", and sees an opportunity because he knows you're vulnerable. The two of you start talking and develop a friendship. He seems to understand you so well. He sends you pictures of some random cute 16 year old boy you're to believe is him. He suggests meeting you somewhere in person and you agree on a place and time. When you show up looking for your 16-year-old online boyfriend, this awful man has come early, spots you right away, and... This scenario ends in tragedy way too often. Please be careful!
