I'm not ok.
Headaches is good place to start. Easier to monitor to see how successful treatment is.
I don't know what doctor will say/do but it's there job to relieve your pain. However, just taking pain killers is not long term solution. Need to prevent headaches from happening. Don't know about doctors there, but regular 'family doctors' here can prescribe most anti-anxiety/tension medications as well as psychiatrists. They won't give you a long term diagnosis though, and leave that to specialists.
After that I would need a list of your symtoms/problems to make suggestion. But in general go after the easier fixes first, because things are interrelated and sometimes more then one problem gets solved. Also its good to get some success early on to help build your momentum.

I think I'll wait. I'll finally get to see a specialist about anxiety disorders and mood disorders in January. I'll start there.
Does that mean you want a list of symptoms/problems?

I'm glad you are seeking the advice of a specialist soon. In the meantime there are also natural remedies that can help for headaches. (ginger root, willow bark etc, you can also google for natural remedies). I very seldom get headaches, only when I get stressed. My friend gets migraines and needs frequent medication to deal with it.
Take it one step at a time and things will start to get better. Being a part of this WP community is also a way of getting more information. I was diagnosed 3 years ago - never knew what the problem was before. It has helped me a great deal as I've been able to learn so much and I'm 49!
Thinking of you and trust things will begin to look up!
I would be cautious about seeing "specialists". I do not wish to scare you, but I just need to warn you of what may happen, if you let down your guard. Remember, these people are not your friends - they are people with jobs that are influenced a lot from lobbying from the pharmaceutical industry, and the medical "recommendations" most commonly tend to come from books sent out from or influenced of that same industry. Alternatively, they may also wish to try alternative, more barbaric "treatments" such as ECT, which is an accepted and even promoted practice, in Sweden. They wanted to do that to me, after incarcerating me, and also wished to try anti-psychotics on me. However, although they tried to make me believe they could put me in a psych ward, they could not do that, since I never had said anything that directly told that I was a danger to myself or others (for example, I always was wise enough not to say that I had suicidal thoughts - saying that to someone connected to the psychiatry is exceptionally unwise, unless you somehow are okay with the abuse that very likely could follow in a psych ward (which Sweden doesn't officially have, but in reality, they still exist)). However, the person who tried to bully me into submission attempted to make me and others believe that I was a danger to myself or others, simply due to very normal opinions of mine, such as my hatred of Microsoft and not wearing "normal" clothes, among other very non-crazy things. I have, afterwards, been told that they never had the right to incarcerate me, but to be honest, I would never trust anyone with any connection to the psychiatry, ever again. Some people of this forum may point out how crazy I am, due to some of my views and interests; that they could have been right about me, due to that.... well, I wasn't the same person at all, back when I sought help. Back then, I was just unhappy, but I still had my whole life ahead of me..... but trying to find a way out of my unhappiness was a big mistake. Soon, they would start to attempt to bully me into submission, try to get me incarcerated, in violation of the law, followed by giving me ECT and/or anti-psychotics, both of which lead to brain damage. Had I ever believed that they knew my best, I could today have lost large parts of my memory, due to the ECT, and gotten other types of brain damage, due to anti-psychotics/neuroleptics. They tried to push that on me several times.... I never once would take them, as I already had lost all faith in the psychiatry of Sweden, at that time.
I am very sorry for this negative post, but I just want to share my experience with the psychiatry of Sweden, with you, since that is where you also live. Had I tried to just somehow soldier on, I don't think I would be where I am, today... not sure how I would've done that, considering how everything was working against me, ever since I first started school, but I still tend to wish that I never had tried to get help. I also want to point out that anti-anxiety drugs always are very addictive... they can feel just like what you needed, when you take them, but when you stop.... all hell may break loose, mentally. When used with utmost care, and not frequently, they can be helpful, it you truly do need them, but even then, other things must be kept in mind... for example, combining them with alcohol may very well lead to permanent memory loss for the time you are exposed to that combination, and sometimes up to a whole day afterwards. Drugs are pretty much never a good idea, due to the complexity of the human brain.
If you wish to ask more about my experiences, feel free to do so via PM, if you so wish.... I will definitely try to build up the energy to answer, if you do. I do want to point out that not absolutely all has gone wrong, for me, due to the psychiatry.... I did manage to get a diagnosis for Asperger's, which was a blessing, for a lack of a better word. I probably would have killed myself, by now, if it wasn't for that.... so basically, I believe that if you are very cautious and trust no one, you can get help from the psychiatry in Sweden, if you have your mind set on getting an Asperger's diagnosis. However, you must be sure of why you believe that diagnosis is right for you.... for example, when you found out about Asperger's, did you suddenly see, "that is so me"? If you did, I believe you may have no difficulties arguing for that an Asperger's diagnosis is right for you.
I hope you will feel better, soon. Again, I'm sorry for the negativity in this post. >.> I feel I do need to warn you, though.... I definitely wish someone had warned me, at least... :/
I had misunderstood and had the impression your appointment with the doctor was much further away. But yes is if its in January you might as well wait before branching out to see other doctors.
What you do in the meantime and even during the initial stages of diagnosis I guess is the question then. I do suggest you make a list of your problems and try to quantify them as to which are worst, to bring with you to the doctor. Many people find they forget to mention things during the interviews with doctors, and giving the doctor as accurate a description as possible will help them make the right diagnosis. But if you think it useful, you can list it here. Perhaps one of us might have a insight to something.
You know people can be pretty complicated, and figuring yourself out and what works best for you can be a long and difficult puzzle to solve. All people can go thru bad phases, and if you have some preconditions (like aspergers) it just makes it harder. But the most difficult puzzles, once solved, can have unique and remarkable results. Things and systems are designed primarily with NT's in mind, so figuring out a way to modify your own systems to be able to work in tandem with the NT world is an important aspect.
I appreciate the warning. I mean, of course I'm a bit scared about opening up and I've heard some "horror stories" about specialists and the psychiatry which make me really worried sometimes. But I guess there are more people who have been helped by professionals than people who feel like they haven't been helped, right? I've already made up my mind. I need to at least try getting professional help. I can't go on living like this.
I created such a list about 8 months ago. It ended up being 20 pages long (written in font size 10). I have no idea what to prioritise (I guess I can't bring a 20 pages long list) since I think all of it is relevant. Same goes for writing here; I can't post 20 pages and I have no idea what to prioritise.
