Strap some explosives to yourself and then blow yourself up in a place where no one will get hurt. Quick and easy, no pain. Slightly overkill though. But you can make anfo in your backyard if you want.

I am now most likely on a FBI watchlist. Oh well.

Yes, but its not nearly as fun, and it keeps me from thinking of all the things I'm not as good as I should be at. This just gives me a list of things I think are stupid and never going to do, despite feeling really down at the time. Trying to act positive doesn't do much for me besides remind me of all the things I don't have. Sometimes its nice to be told everything thats f****d up about me. Bridges tend to fail when gussets are half the thickness they could be and no one bothers to check.

Sometimes a little sympathy is nice too.

So does anyone have any good ideas, per the thread title?

Jump off the highest thing you can find, preferably in a rural area where the animals can clean you up rather than a group of people having to do the job.

Trouble with the second option is that it gives you time to realise you've made the wrong choice but can't back out. Suppose you could do a parachute jump and try not to open.

Just as soon as I find a genuine Illinois mountain that is tall enough and not made out of trash. Sheer terror in the face of certain death would be a new experience though.

You could take the suicide skydive challenge.

Can you do the drop and not open the chute?

Would the adrenaline rush make you pull?

Would you turn into an adrenaline junkie instead?

Find someone else who is also suicidal.
Flip a coin to see who gets to murder who.
Do it in a hospital so your/their organs can be donated.
Do it in a place that has a death penalty, so the murderer will be put to death.

Failing that working out, try some professional help.

Suicide disrespects one's potential by kowtowing to the situation when life has its origins in defiance all the way back to the first spark.

I always thought tying your gun to a big balloon would be a crazy idea, that way when you do the deed the gun floats away leaving a mystery for the police
