rude or not rude?
I got fired once for simply stating that another co-worker was clueless regarding his job and that he was only hired because he had relatives in senior management. (spoken in confidence, so I thought, to another co-worker suffering from the incompetence ofcthe first). I learned to stay silent when others complain about another co-worker, and to disengage from the conversation if it is more than a passing comment.
I'd be surprised if the teacher is. "axed" but imo is certainly more justified either way than my own learning experience. Hopefully the teacher will learn from it, whether it is a firing or reprimand of some sort.
