Today I can only describe as monotonous and drawn-out. It seemed like I was going to the same class today (not the same as in it is on the same exact day, but that the class felt exactly the same as the week before, same lecture, same notes etc.) it got really really boring. I tried to continue writing but I unfortunately began to suffer repeated attacks of writers block, so I only got about a page in my first comic book done when I normally get about 3-5 done in a day. Because of this I took a long and lonely walk across campus thinking about life, and wishing I had some female companion to walk beside me. Huhhh..... I want to slow down and think, but I feel that if I don't start now and don't start being great then I'll just be this way the rest of my life. I mean no offense to anyone but I just don't want to end up old and alone like most people on here. I'm trying to heal myself but since I know that scar-tissue is stronger than regular tissue I think I'd rather stay scarred.

i can speak from my own experience, that scar tissue must continually be exercised and stretched but gently.

Come on man! Pulp Fiction! One of my favorite scenes when Jules has his gun pointed at Ringo and he is giving him a lecture on the biblical quote (even though it's not really from the bible) that he says in the beginning of the movie. If you've never seen Pulp Fiction before then definitely watch it just for the opening and ending scenes.

i don't mean to rain on your parade, but i did see the film [against my better judgement], quite a few years back in the theatre [hence the dim memory of it]. it left a foul taste in my mouth, as i don't normally enjoy seeing sociopathy projected upon a large screen, which is why i won't see most movies. sorry.

It's fine, in fact the scene I am talking about isn't sociopathic at all, in fact it's the opposite it's about why the character doesn't want to kill anymore.

:thumleft: then you chose a sterling meme to live by. :wtg: when you get to be my [old] age you will find that if you just concentrate on putting one foot in front of the other that a lot of unpleasantness is filtered out in the process.
