Good advice. I plan to be showered, shaved (I'm a guy, and sometimes grow a beard cause I hate to shave), and in clean clothes. My shrink put down ADHD for my diagnosis. She (Miss L) has a copy of my medication list. I will tell her that I was hating myself for having rear ended a brand new car, and I was stressed out and hating myself for having been so stupid. My shrink put down ADHD for a diagnosis, so she'll go over my medications, and I'll tell her what each one is for. She will probably ask if I'm distracted while driving, and I'll say no. I will tell her what I told the cop, that I'd pulled up too close to the SUV at a red light, and couldn't see the light, and I was relying on the cars around me to tell me when to go, and I thought they'd moved. I will tell her that I no longer do that.

Today is Nov 7, so I went to DMV for my hearing. Took a written test, and passed. Then I talked with Miss L. I told her that I was nervous and fidgety from the accident. She asked about my diagnoses, the ones the docs had put down, and I explained them to her. She wanted to know if I take my meds regularly, and I told her about the alarms I set. She asked if my voices ever tell me to hurt people, and I said no. She said I seemed fine to her, and that I would have to take a driving test, likely in 2-3 weeks. She showed me the actual handwritten report from the officer, and he wrote that I appeared "mentally challenged". She never asked about autism. So once I pass the driving test, I will likely be cleared.
