Oh but I know that is true! And even if he did complain about me, fine, I can live with that, I would just really want to know what it was about! 8O

He knows you've been at least a little suspicious or leery of him/his 'off' behaviors. If she's his new target, he's prepping her, in case you eventually have something you know about him, that you might disclose to her... You are not paranoid. Your gut feelings are spot on.

I know you mean well but that is a lot of (inaccurate) projection. Thank you for your support though! :)

Right. Ive read it all again now. The first thing that I though was that maybe they are joking. But now I'm thinking, it does seem a little bit odd foe them to say that.
If it is still on your mind leafplant, I wonder if it's worth just asking him if everything is ok with you.
I wouldn't let on that it's in relation to that particular moment though, it might just help you to clear the air a bit.

thanks babybird. I would love to ask but I know they won't tell me, they will say they were joking even if they weren't. It's a known fact that I can be paranoid anyway. :( I'm happiest just leaving this be, I just needed to vent so to stop my paranoia festering inside, hence the reason I made this thread. Also, it helps when lots of people tell you you are imagining things, even if you are not, it's easier to behave as if you are and doing so makes life easier all around. I am all for easy life :D

I know, I get the same way. I'm usually inclined to just let it ride. I hear people bitching about people every day at work, and I just think that they probably do it about me too, when my backs turned.

It makes me feel important in a way that there even taking the time out to talk about me (If they are )

You're pretty tough though, you'll be right.
