Nature may seem cruel, but it's orderly--and doesn't waste, fall into hedonism or overindulgence, like humanity seems to be doing these days. Cancer is usually caused by lifestyle or environmental factors, just like Alzheimer's.

Uh, no. Cancer, Alzheimer's, autism, and various other conditions are naturally occurring conditions.

A better analogy would be pissing in the public swimming pool.

An even better analogy would be pissing in the public swimming pool because nature had provided the wrong gender swimsuit.

How you were born is no one's fault, but is society's fault for not providing access to healthcare. So being angry at society is fairly rational in this case.

But the OP is not angry at society, they are angry at nature and want to support things they think will hurt nature and essentially the planet as a whole....it would make more sense if they where angry at society rather then the planet which provides essentials to life.

But society is saying that it's doing its best to get around to me, just after the gays all get same-sex marriage and after every single person with a potentially deadly disease (except those that are potentially deadly b/c they increase the risk of suicide, as that isn't the same as real deadliness); I need to wait in line until every single other one of those things is completely and 100% verifiably fixed. Oh yeah, I need to also wait for a perfect national single-payer health care system and all that other stuff, too. So I shouldn't be mad at society, which as I have been assured by so many is working as quickly as it can to provide what I need, even if it takes several of my lifetimes.

It was nature that put me here in this society, which has been plagued with so many far more pressing issues than one stupid little autistic tranny's need for SRS, as fulfilling my need would mean that those more pressing issues would be compromised and may even cause society to fail in accomplishing them as many even here have told me in no uncertain terms, so nature is my enemy. Had nature put me in the U.K. or the Netherlands instead, I would have been much better off.

Medicare's ban on covering SRS may soon be struck down:

http://www.buzzfeed.com/evanmcsan/hhs-e ... eassignmen

Oh, how horrible! What about all those people with those deadly diseases! What about all those children with cancer! What about dental or vision coverage? I tell you, Children with cancer will suffer and die because of this. What a horribly reckless upcoming decision by a horrible Administration; there needs to be a good Republican in charge of the White House and Republicans in complete control of both Houses of Congress to restore the ban if we are to save those children with cancer and turn the focus back to providing good dental and vision care! If the ban is stricken down, and stays stricken down, then we will be unable to save those children with cancer and near-sighted people will all go without glasses and dentists will have to close up shop because no one will be able to afford seeing them anymore and everyone's teeth will rot! Come on, GOP 2014 and 2016! Restore sanity to the government!

Oh, and Medicare covering SRS means I may get coverage soon. If I become disabled and lose my job, then I'll get on SSDI, then after 2 years on that I'll get on Medicare, so Medicare may pay for my surgery. What a grievous action that would be! I tell you, should I do that, then The Heroes and Heroines of the Internet® will have to do something! If they can't stop me before I reach the surgery table, then there would only be one choice left! While the surgeon's not looking, they're going to have to drop something in my throat; since I'll be under general anesthesia, I'll choke on it and die! That way, such a grievous action on taxpayer money would not be carried out!

As this thread is clearly about personal issues, it does not belong in PPR.

[Thread moved from Politics, Philosophy and Religion to The Haven]

I notice you have a cat in your picture, do you realize how many cats will die...if nature is destroyed? so there are naturally occurring conditions how does that mean the whole earth needs to die?

It is sarcasm regarding the fallacy that there will always be a health condition to treat that is more important than SRS.

Well that would still be a problem in society then, not a problem with nature wouldn't it? Society is the one who treats it as a less important surgery...destroying nature isn't going to help that issue.

She argues that nature's casual circumstances put her in an incompassionate society.

So, society is to blame superficially, yes, however, nature is the underlying cause.

Alzheimer's isn't genetic at all. Cancer is only genetic in 5% of all cases; in all other cases, it's because of external factors.

There's often a truck parked where I go to get coffee in the morning with a bumper sticker that says, "Proudly burning the fuel your Prius saves." I can try and put you in touch with that guy if you want. Otherwise, there's not much I can do for you other than offer my congratulations on the latest news that Antarctica is falling apart and will raise the sea levels exponentially over the next couple centuries.

Of course the real issue here is delusions of grandeur. Harming nature will ultimately only harm life on Earth, not nature itself.

So...

If we dam up the Grand Canyon, and nuke the whales, go back to using DDT, and so forth- this will 'teach nature a lesson' and you will morph into the physical gender you want to be magically- and free of charge?

This does not address my point at all.
