Sorry but that's how I feel. I had to explain, AGAIN, to my grandmother that I am not going to "snap" and kill a bunch of people just because I have The Dread Disease. Last time, I had to explain it to my neighbor. I'll probably have to explain it to the two preschool parents who are even willing to speak to me at the park tomorrow.
One of these days, I am going to lose my right to self-determination in my own care. I am going to totally lose my right to keep and bear arms. I see forced institutionalization and sterilization, a la the 1930s, coming back. I have yellow-star nightmares.

If they're gonna round us up and gas us, the best thing to do is fight back when they come for us. One of the big threads running through genocides, from the Stalinist Purges to the Holocaust to the Khmer Rouge, is that people had gotten so accustomed to doing whatever the authorities demanded that when they were told to board trucks they did so like sheep to slaughter. Americans are told that "no possessions are worth dying for" and to comply with a robber's demands. We are constantly spied on. And when the trucks come, most people will board them without a peep. By then, of course, it's too late to save yourself, but one thing you CAN do is make the bastards suffer. You don't need a gun, and a person with a handgun can be easily disarmed anyway. Knives (large ones), axes, pickaxes, shovels, and so on. You will die, but it's better to die on your feet, fighting back, than in a gas chamber. Buy stuff with debit/credit cards so the little turds know everything you've got. Put the fear of god into them. Maybe they'll just kill you right off the bat. We all know what's coming, so prepare NOW.
