My dad committed suicide.
He hung himself from a tree in his backyard.
Two young boys found his body.
They will have to live with that image for the rest of their lives.
Police had to come and cut him down, investigate his death.
One of the boys' father asked us to cut down the tree because the sight of it was upsetting his son. He was having nightmares.
My brother and I are still haunted, bewildered and saddened by his death.
We don't have a dad anymore.
My children don't have their grandad.
It leaves a hole in your life.
Don't think for a moment that people won't be affected by your death. If someone did hit you while you were mowing, how would they feel? Even if you overdosed at home someone still has to deal with finding your body.
I don't think you really want to die. I think you just want the life you're living right now to END. It's too much for you.
