One thing that also gets my spirits down is all these computers replacing jobs. I still like computers though.

google "manna" which is an excellently written sci-fi short story that takes the computer takeover of jobs to its logical conclusion.

Well, I mean, a human having a job is supposed to be the be-all end-all right? Could all those and me who worry about computers taking jobs be irrational?

not irrational in the least, for when the computers take the jobs all that will be left for humans in America is homelessness except for a lucky rich 1%. read "manna."
