I made this topic to get my anger out, not for people to make opinions about it...

Yes you can.

There are exactly 10 categories of people in the world.

Those who understand binary, and those who dont.

Remember RedMage, that "there are as many opinions as there are heads". What's the odds that all are going to agree? SFA, I should think. I sometimes find you a bit too angry and confrontational for my liking, not to mention your utter impatience with FF games ( ) but you still are better than many I have met. And besides, you're still young. Believe me, you have plenty of time to develop the hard shell of cynicism you need to survive.

Sorry the diagrams didn't show up - I'll see if I can figure out that part.

I enjoy lables. I identify with the goth subculture and with the geek culture, and I consider myself both. I have problems when people are total stereotypes with no individuality, and with prejudice, but I don't think lables themselves are bad.

I had to get that out before I got pissed off even more...

I wish there was a label for someone like me. The only thing I ever got stuck with was mysterious loner, I'm difficult to characterize. I feel so left out.

Don't. There's just no good label for me either.

I use the term NT only as a generic to describe non-aspies or those without say, mental disorders. It non-intended as any mean label or intended to mean that all people that are "NT" are alike, less intelligent, or less important then aspies, or any other particular group.

I'm generally the same way, I don't use AS as a lable, I just acknowledge that a difference exists.... Especially since most NTs don't take to kindly of new differences. Though I do think scientifically we might be evolving.... Most NTs NEED lables, aparently, this is the world they have created. But that doesn't mean good NTs don't exist. But NTs are more generally geared toward social pecking order and dominance and that kinda stuff. You can't always fault them for it because most of the time they really don't know any better, and there are even a statistically smaller group of aspies who act this way.

People talk often though in condemnation of highschoolers for immaturely following lables, but those same people criticizing usually haven't outgrown the labelling stage themselves. Their lables just change to more "adult" lables, like conservative, liberal, libertarian, socialist, christian, jewish, atheist, buddhist, muslim, pagan, male, female, black, white, brown, asian, arab, american indian, american, english, russian, japanese, mexican, etc etc. (ad naseum).
Noting biological differences isn't so bad, but when people define themselves by their differences and use them as lables it becomes a bad thing. Ideological lables are just lables, pure and simple. Ideological lables are a CHOICE, nobody is born with them. And, no ideological theory in today's world are without holes.

I've been called 'emo' because I cut every now and then and am slightly depressed.
