I am very sorry for your loss. Losing these dear friends is one of the most painful experiences in life. Take care over the coming weeks.

I'm so sorry about your cat. A few years ago I had a cat that also died of kidney failure so feel I can relate to this.

So sorry about your cat... I had two of my dogs die within four months of each other in 2014 and I still think about them every single day. I know you pain. Feel better soon.

Thank you for the kind words.

I forgot to mention that Chubs has been cremated, and her ashes are in the same urn as her original owner, my fiancé's late grandmother. They are together now.

I do think about her every day, and it can be painful sometimes. But my other cats, Sammy and Cyber Kitty (CK, for short), manage to put a smile on my face by snuggling and playing with me. Talking to my fiancé also helps.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have lost cats before and it hurts so much. I make no distinction between them and humans. I hope you will ind strength and support to deal with this. I find that the kindness of others helps a lot. It is also good to keep busy and try and focus on the good.
