see thats the thing. if you want to talk to them daily you're clingy. if you want to go shooting or play videogames you're' distant and hurting her.

people here label me without even knowing what I'mlike. I'm so freaking out and I'll probably ruin any relationsip I have tryint to compensate for something that might not be wrong. like I apparently have to pretend I hate the girl so not to be clingy how is that going to be good :(

then complicated because everyone has different ideas of clingy. a super clingy woman probably would not find daily texting clingy. heck i see bunch of women say they want daily communication with their man yet those here say I clingy for wanting the same.

I don't know what to do. do I act like I dont' like them and avoid them, or do I text them daily and call them and try to see them while still holding on to my hobbies, though apparenlty doing my hobbies is distant and bad.

To a lot of people who have Asperger's daily texting is seen as clingy. The issue is a lot of us tend to enjoy our own space. However, I believe even a good number of people who do not have Asperger's may have an issue with it also.

Clingy does vary from person to person. Something I have noticed is usually when someone is not that into another they throw the word "clingy" around quickly. Yet when someone they are interested in acts the same exact way, they get labeled sweet and affectionate.

How about you bring that up? Ask the girl what is clingy to her. If she complains about you suffocating her and then has the nerve to become upset when you play video games then move on. This girl is probably one of those types that does find clingy behavior annoying, but gets an ego boost out of it. Then once she sees you are not all over her, she becomes upset because you're not feeding that ego. This shows immaturity on her behalf. Move on.

You do not have to be in a relationship. To me it sounds like you're having difficulty finding a balance which means you might have to take time for yourself. Again, I had the same issue you have (clingy then distant clingy then distant). Then I realized that it was just making me go crazy trying to find a nice balance, so I cut my chances with the guy and moved on.

well I don't have a girl. got this stuff from some almost ones in the past, friends and people here. so i'm super confused.
I was called clingy because I missed one girl when she'd just up and vanish for weeks at time with no notice.

then people here call me clingy. and others complain their aspie guy plays games or does his hobbies too much. :(

So seems being myself is bad and would blow any chance with a agirl, so I should be really distant no?
I don't think I'm that clingy. I like time to do my hobbies and apparently thats bad too. I just so happen enjoy talking to and being around the women I love.
