I've basically given up hope.
Giving up hope reveals either the tragedy in everything or the hilarity.
I choose hilarity.
Because why the f**k not?

Every time I enter L&D. It's like reading the thoughts of an insect for some people and it definitely can't be chalked up to their ASD. You'd think they were sociopaths, but I think it's just persisting "guy culture" from the last century.

What do you mean exactly?

you'll see in two decades that as much women have autism
its just not seen now, like the missing of heartattacks in women was
and i bet men are more likely to find some succes with autism, because social impairment is far more debilitating for women

There aren't any weed stores yet, but they're talking about it. Yay Trudeau.

The only trouble with pot---the expense!

You can buy a gallon of milk for the cost of a nickel bag.

Then move to Oregon!

Yes, it is expensive. And when they start selling it at the liquor outlets there's going to be tax added on too. But at least it will easily available.

Oregon sounds lovely, but I'll stick with Canada.

I smoke everyday and its $100 a month.

If your paying more, you aren't smoking it right. Only smoke joints when stealth is required or if your doing it in public. Use a pipe, little bit of weed provides lots of high. Avoid blunts and bongs, they take a lot of weed and while they do get you higher, you don't want to be that high all time. I recommend a smooth medicated feel and not to over do it. I don't encourage people to drive under the influence of marijuana, however, if you feel you can't operate a vehicle or machinery - you are too freaking high, reduce dosage.

Other signs your too high,

Can't remember your thoughts from about four or five sentences ago in your internal dialogue

Place things in strange locations such as milk in the cabinet or cereal in the fridge.

Your nodding off to sleep.

I prefer joints to smoking with paraphernalia like pipes or bongs. I like to keep things simple.

I've been smoking since '91 and although I know I go through it too fast, I have never been too high. I've been too drunk lots of times, but never too high. For some reason I function much better stoned. I can concentrate and it gives me perspective to know what's important and what's not. I talked to my psychiatrist about it and he says that if it helps me, go for it. I'm expecting to get some tomorrow; I've not smoked in four days now and my clarity is gone. I simple can't focus on anything.

Yeah it helps my focus too but I can get too high, especially if I have a bong. Maybe you don't because you use joints, joints never get me as high as glass. Weird, maybe what ever problem keeps us out of focus you just have a worse problem than mine cause it helps but I can definitely get too high.

I still remember the spring I discovered weed. Early '90s, before 9/11, grunge was the fad. Lots of indie bands and everyone seemed happy. Things changed a lot by the end of that decade. But still today, weed is my go to for functionality. I never did anything harder (other than alcohol, which almost destroyed me.) One time I was offered cocaine. I went to try it but somehow ended up blowing it away from me instead of snorting it. A rather tough looking biker guy tried hard not to laugh at me. Probably best that it worked out that way, if I had tried cocaine successfully, I'd be hooked for sure.

I did cocaine and all the hard stuff but I got off of it by just coming to peace with using marijuana exclusively even over alcohol and things are working out so far. I am a lot more sable off the other stuff and weed helps with a lot of stuff too. The issue is not getting caught, I live in a backwards state that will murder, rape and kill you for drug use. If caught I would lose my apartment, get kicked out of college I am about to attend and go to jail. I just have trust God that I won't be caught, plus I could just as easily get caught with the harder stuff so I guess I am risking it all anyway. My reasoning though is life is so short that I'd rather be happy and risk it all coming apart than just suffer through the only life I have. If caught I will rebuild else where and life will go on.

I'm sorry you have to take such a risk just to smoke weed. It's ridiculous that people make such a fuss over it. I read somewhere that it is only prohibited because of the alcohol monopoly. Alcohol producers didn't want the competition so they demonized it and drove it into illegality.

I am pleased to see a turn in the opposite direction. Oregon and Washington State in your country. In mine, Trudeau was elected with a mandate to legalize nationally for recreational. He's kept his promises so far.
