I'm NOT going home to play Sonic Heroes. That is the worst PS2 game I have...

Try doing something completely different. Go for a run, go to the library, go swimming, write a short story. You never know you might like it.

Okay? Neither I nor anyone else suggested that you do.

I already recommended the emulator and it sounds like you've already gotten one if you're playing Super Metroid. In that case, what's the problem? You've got access to hundreds of free games. Sure, they're not the most recent games, but I'm willing to bet that you haven't played, or even heard of, the majority of them.

If your mom won't buy you a new game, then she won't buy you a new game. That's that. You've gotta make do with what you can get, and right now what you can get are SNES games.

Okay then, what's the best SNES game? I only have SM at the moment.

I dunno. What kind of stuff do you like? The Twisted Tales of Spike Mcfang is a cool RPG, so is Mario RPG. Kirby Super Star is pretty entertaining. E.V.O: Search for Eden is fun. Earthbound, in my opinion, is incredible. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is good. Actraiser, Harvest Moon, they're fun. A friend highly recommends Tales of Phantasia as an RPG. Um, if you can find a translated version, Wonder Project J is a fun sort of virtual pet type game. If you like games that are kind of puzzly, I'd suggest Out of This World and Flashback.

It really depends what you're into. I'm far from having encyclopedic knowledge of video games anyway. I'm sure there are excellent games that I've never even heard of.
