No, I wouldn't mind - I'm just grateful for the opportunity to be able to post (any answers gratefully received)and to read and respond to posts put up by others.

Nope. It means I should have come up with a better topic name.

Kind of makes me sad on account that it makes me feel that no one wants to talk to me.

Sometimes I feel like I am being annoying or I said something very stupid that would push me to the unwanted list. So yes I am paranoid.

Yeah, sometimes. I imagine other posters gossiping about me behind my back but how can they? I just have to remind myself that I'm probably being daft!

Yeah so I try not to look.

If you look at a random sample of threads, there are approximately 10 views to every 1 post, more or less. So it happens on all the threads.

Haha! I have the same fear! No wonder we're close, scrulie! I'm so insecure that I've only ever started one thread....the one about our lovely baby Mr. Nicholls!!

It used to, now I've gotten used to it because it happens to me so much whenever I start a thread.

There's several reasons it could happen, many of which that aren't negative. As a couple examples...

Someone reading the thread may think they have nothing to add, so rather than a "i've got nothing" or "Sorry, not my thing," they just don't post.

It could also be that they feel like they don't have the slightest idea what to say, or how to help, and rather than flailing at it they just don't post.

They could be thinking about responding negatively, but rather than that they just don't post.

Paranoia. Can't really go into that.

I'm sure there's more, those are just a few reasons I've had when I've refrained from replying in the past.

If anything, just knowing that someone has read what I've written has been helpful for me at times. Sure, they may not care, but someone's aware of it if nothing else.

Annoying.

When I posted a thread on this website, I only received a total of four replies. It was a little upsetting, but it also seemed like I was looking in a mirror at times. I, too, am paranoid. I'm scared of trying to find a partner to work with instead of just having someone assigned to me. I'm scared to join a conversation within a group. I'm scared to invite myself to sit with someone. Finally, I'm scared of asking someone out. This is all because of the fact that I don't want to feel shunned out by other people, no matter who they are.

There. I posted without having anything to say. But I understand being bothered by things like this.

Stuff like that doesn't bother me anymore, i pile it in to my "nobody gave a s**t" cabinet...

But it took me a while to get to that point. And sure, I say this, but I guess it does bother me a bit when everybody reads my posts and don't respond. The main thing is, "why???"

Of course I haven't posted much on this site, but many of my posts have been the last of the thread, I think.
