This is why I probably shouldn't have kids. (Assuming I could hold down a stable relationship long enough to even get to that point...) I'd probably wind up killing someone over this type of thing, and the authorities would be none too happy with me.

File a complaint, with the school, with the cops, with whoever you can. Don't give up on it because of the possibility that it wouldn't go anywhere. Pursue this for the possibility that it will. This guy needs to be held accountable for his actions.

Ring the coppers ("police"); you might just save someone....

Screw your family and call the cops. Even if they don't prosecute him, at least you'll have made a complant. That way, if he does it again, there will be a record that someone (you) filed a complaint for the same thing.

Oh, and by the way... The school library may have surveillance cameras. However, cameras sometimes recycle their tape. So don't f*ck around and think about the consequences of reporting him, etc. too much. Just do it, and bring up the issue of surveillance cameras IMMEDIATELY before any tapes or other possible records are destroyed.

Also, if this guy had an IQ of more than 2, he may have disabled cameras. So if there was a period of surveillance equipment "malfunctioning" during the time that this happenned, complain and accuse him of sabotaging it.

Last of all, this is such a typical M.O. for a pervert, to get a girl alone in a deserted area. I honestly don't think this is the first time he has done it. However, you could possibly be the first person to be complaining about it. There's been a rash of school-based child molesting in Utah (or so it seems...) and every time one kid has the guts to tell the parents, who tell the cops and the local media outlets, other kids start to crawl out of the woodwork. In other words, I suspect that if you push the issue enough to publicize it (keep in mind that media outlets, for ethical reasons, do not publicize the names of minors - and even some adult - sex abuse victims) other victims will start to emerge.

You didn't do anything wrong by following this guy into the library. You're supposed to be able to trust people who work at schools - period. He had no business getting you in the library to try and get you to do a sex act. Now you have an opportunity to save an unknown number of future victims. This guy's young - 47 - so he's gonna have a lot of time in his life to try and get more victims. Do them ALL a favor and get this guy fired & thrown in jail!

ugggghh!!1 school custodians, seems they are the only people schools do not do backround checks on and check their competancy,(do a mental health checkup before employment)

sorry to hear this spacecase, just tell school offiicals and tell them who the custodian was (and if you dont know his name, tell them what he looked like) if you cannot, many big schools, the night cleaners are assigned a spacific area such as the library and a few halls, make sure u tell them what time he and you came across eachother if you can remember,

an incident happened like this in the school district shortly after i graduated, school janitor had done something sexual or asked her something mature in an elementry school, result was, he was fined and also he had to register as a sex offender for about 7 years.

so spacecase, if you tell on this pervert, people will come out of the woodwork if you werent the only one he has asked, when the school district gets done with him, he will probably wish he never had a job working there in first place

the reason wny its soo easy for a school district to hire anyone as a cleaner is because theres no kids and all you need to do basically is know how to use a vacuum cleaner and dustpan.

I think you should write down every single detail about the incident that you remember (and I mean deatail - like brand of shoes the guy was wearing, if you remember something that specific) and go to the cops. I can almost guarantee you that there is at least one other person suffering the same way that you are right now, and countless others that will suffer if you stay silent about this.
