I definitely prefer corners when going out to eat, or at least to have my back against a wall instead of out to an aisle. I don't like it when the staff is running around right next to me.
In classes, I generally need to sit up front, but I like the end (usually the one right by the door). If that end happens to be right up against the wall, life is good.
My bed is actually slightly out from the corner because it makes it easier to make the bed (even though the only time I actually make the bed is when I change the sheets).
But, when the stress really gets to me, the most appealing thing is curling up in the fetal position under a table. I haven't actually done it, but it always seems like a comforting place.
