thank you but the main reason i'm vigilant is because i'm low man on the totem pole, always watching out for others who would knock me out.
Man auntblubby you sure are tough.

thank you Shah :flower but I am actually very weak and frail, I had to develop some mental toughness living in unfavorable circumstances. but you are probably way tougher than me!

That makes you even more tough. You'd never develop mental toughness if you were physically indestructible.

if I was indestructible, I might never have needed to develop mental toughness in the first place.

Yeah how can toughness exist without a set of unfavorable circumstances. Their would be no reason for it to be developed.

I have to also say that mental toughness doesn't also come with a tincture of warpage as well. the paranoia is hard to regulate.

Well just the fact you are able to deal with it shows something about you. You are not brought low by what you have.

Well why do you say that?

I mean you are hardly at the bottom, you are funny intelligent and unafraid to put holes in the arguments I make,

thank you :flower: I don't mean to poke holes in anybody's arguments, far be it from me to do such, but I do rebut certain things other people say, if they rub me the wrong way. but there are certain people I don't bother even reading. so that means if I say something in response to you then you are a decent person worth interacting with IMHO. i'd rather be friends with people but I don't get many takers. but if you saw how I lived, you would say I am not much removed from a homeless unfortunate.

Well are we defined by the way we live or what person we are?

I have found their are often many people that like it when you have something to contribute and would be fine being friends with you. And many who also do not care. Maybe I am naive but that is what I think just judging from my own experience. You seem like the kind of person who knows allot about the world around you something which others may like.

thank you :) I nicely envy your ability to live in NZ which is a most civilized nation that could teach us amuuricans a lot. but i'm afraid the way I've had to live has molded me into a stunted version of myself.

Its fairly nice here, but not great. America has great technology. And their legislative system in my eyes works a little better their.

we have gerrymandering here which ruins things AFAIC. also a ridiculous electoral system that is a legacy of slavery. in NZ I get the impression the lower classes get a MUCH FAIRER shake than here in amuurica.

Well in the United States their is an congressional system that allows for allot less smaller parties to dominate the legislature making it less efficient.

How are you finding the US in general?
