I'm glad you told your Mom and got help. I hope thinks work out for you.

I hated school and was depressed during my last 2 years. I used to feel extraordinarily depressed when you'd hear people say, 'School is the best time of your life'. That's utter rubbish.

I take it you don't have many more years of school?

If school is too much an alternate way of finishing your education may be the way to go. I know Lightning88 stopped going to school, starting homeschooling with the teachers visiting her and now goes to school for evening classes. Can you ask her about her experience?

Do you want me to fly UbbyUbbyUbby out to be your personal bodyguard? He's had 4 Taekwondo lessons and is pretty good! :)

if it was the guy who was threatening you, don't blame yourself for getting him in trouble, he got himself in trouble.

I didn't want him in trouble; I wanted to fight him to be fair.

There is nothing unfair about a little s**t like him being in trouble. He deserves it.

"The Tests of General Educational Development, or GED® Tests, is a battery of five tests that, when passed, certifies the taker has American or Canadian high school-level academic skills. To pass the GED Tests and earn a GED credential, test takers must score higher than 40 percent of graduating high school seniors nationwide. Some jurisdictions require that students pass additional tests, such as an English proficiency exam or civics test."

I want to go to a community college after. But I have to be 16 to get my GED, and that will be in two months.

Would you be able to avoid going to school for the next 2 months and then get your GED? Or would you have to keep going in school?

School gets out in two weeks. I'm hoping I can miss those days.

You could just not go in for the next couple of weeks then.
Then get your GED and go to the community college you mentioned.
I hope it turns out alright for you anyway.
You're probably better off not going back to school now.

Indeed. And if all else fails, you can always just leave school and run away to Russia. 8) With Schmoo of course.

Hello Starbuline!

I'm sorry to hear about what you are going through. I can't imagine the fear that you must have going back to school. You know, in your case, getting your GED is one of the better options, but in my opinion, it is merely the easy way out. But I want to ask you this. Just how many people in school really want a piece of you? I mean if I were you, I would seek some kind of protection. Go to your school counselor and make sure that he/she knows EXACTLY what's going on. I know that some of this isn't your fault. So for that, I feel for you. Man, if I were in this position, I would have a real nervous breakdown and might get unstable enough for me to really hurt someone. I think I speak for everyone here when I say that we are all here for you and we all love you.

From hearing this, I embrace Starbuline! :)
