I love the anagram site, been playing with that one for some years. I game online, and have always gotten a grin out of anagramming my guildmates' avatar names to give them the most bizarre nicknames I can find.

^^ Dave Barry actually wrote a column about it, IIRC - he wrote for the Wenatchee World, put that in, and got Chew A Rented Owl. Which they apparently didn't mind, since it came out in print

I think I came close to starting Terry Pratchett's Discworld and got sidetracked, so I'm not familiar with Esmeralda Weatherwax. So I will have to amend that. Looking at pictures of Terry Pratchett, he reminds me of my grandpa.

I'm wondering if she's anything like this:




Also I'm kinda wishing I has named my Rune Keeper Esmeralda or even Ezmerelda.

I look a bit more like Fidelma of Cashel - a middle aged version - though. Scots-Irish.

Unfortunately it costs 995 points to do a name change which comes out to about 9.95$ in real money. Also she's an elf so I can't age her. Ironically I have a human male wizard type character named Esrador and I decided a long time ago they're married. Esmerelda and Esrador, does have a good ring to it.

My bookshelf isn't that big, unfortunately, but it covers almost a whole wall.

They do make a lovely couple. When I was younger, I had a major major embarrassing crush on Ged, Ursula LeGuin's Wizard of Earthsea, who ended up as the ArchMage of that world so ... even more

(Also, silver and black are definitely the colors of House Weatherwax. )

I love the Wizard of Earthsea! I'm going to reread it now.

Both of my kitty girls came running when I played these - looking around for the kittens. My older girl actually climbed into my lap, which she never does (she'll put a paw on me and ask to be picked up and held, instead), to get closer to the laptop. So I'll mute the vids but they sure are cute.

(Had no idea my little ladies were so motherly. Even more lovable than they already were )

One time when I played the videos without my headphones, Boo came to investigate and even meowed at the screen.
