On March 19th, the population in Asia would be +/- 2 billion (China, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan etc)

50% of those are women = 1 billion, your estimated age range (20-35) is about 8% = 80 MILLION Asian girls.

Suppose that you are compatible with 20% of them (interests, hobbies, socially) = 16 MILLION Asian girls.

Many of them are looking for a new life abroad. Suppose 10% may want to, and can afford to migrate to your country = 1.6 MILLION Asian girls, that are just waiting for you to contact them

Feel better?

I don't think he's looking specifically for an Asian girl, it's more than he thought she looked like his type, a bit nerdy say. He's not going to be the type of as much as 20% of women (few men are) but you are right there are a lot of women out there. It's the same problem over and over, where to meet people of the opposite sex that you have at least some chance of having things in common with. I've tried Italian lessons, art, writing groups (several), reading groups, and law, and met some nice people but no men around my age.

You are correct. It's more that she was cute and nerdy/geeky. I couldn't date just any Asian woman. There are ones no different than the average Bible Belt woman who I have no interest in.

My fault, i got carried away by the blatantly misleading topic of "Cute Asian girl at the park already taken".

Same goes for nerd girls. They are just spread out over the globe, though they make more money and are unlikely to want to move to your country. On the plus side, there is plenty of them everywhere nowadays - unlike 10 years ago.

Sadly, even nerdy/geeky girls have turned me down. It's really spirit draining when someone you have things in common with doesn't want to make a connection with you.
