Just to add: in my case it's not just sunlight. For comfort, most of my screens (cellphone, laptop, ipad) are always on the lowest % of brightness. My friends or family always ask me how do I see anything ever, but it's just how it works better for me. I notice how much it bothers me if I'm watching the living room TV, brightness is way high and I almost always have to look away or be on the other side of the living room for it to be comfortable.

So yeah, you could definitely give it a go with some regular sunglasses and adjusting the brightness of your screens + house lightning and see how that works for you.
