No one in this thread supports my decision to burn the s**t out of my own hand. :? They're offering sympathy, advice, and checking in. And I very much appreciate all of that.

This is the problem because next time you need "sympathy, advice, and checking in" you might do yet another silly thing to yourself to get it...

Owwwww...the picture doesn't load for me, but I've accidentally poured bacon grease on my hand before, so I know it hurts a LOT, for a long time >_<

The picture is loading today, I see it's on your wrist.

When I did it, it was right on the top of my left hand, all over my knuckles, and a bit on my fingers. Huge blister immediately, and even the slightest bit of finger movement was a ton of pain. IIRC, the blister broke in my sleep.

i'll say from personal experience, one day, you'll be 28 years old and be filled with scars because you enjoyed the burns and the pain on your arms. and FILLED with regret. wearing long sleeves when it's 105 degrees in the summer f*****g sucks, but so do the stares from strangers.

just be cautious about continuing this habit going forward. it's addicting, but it could fill you with a lot of regret.
