...Thank you, kk and no. Yes, exactly, I"m not sure what the reaction would be to saying a pseudonym, not a name, was trying to contact me. And. it's nearly 5 PM now. I'll add that this CF's # is - 831-419-2156. However, it's not set up to receive messages. That's one more of the computer things that I don't know how to do and I wish someone would help me with :( ..

I sent you an email with my real name and contact information and professional creds. Show it to someone and ask them to call me.

I've spoken to ASS-P and he has a place to stay tonight and I will work on some of the contact information I have for programs in SF starting tomorrow. He says he got an Asperger's diagnosis and he certainly speaks like someone on the spectrum.

As a note, I found RedRobin’s post here in the Haven with the information on California covering some costs for incontinence products:
viewtopic.php?f=23&t=373211&p=8159181#p8159181

Are you on Medicaid or Medicare? Medicaid pays for incontinence products/adult diapers, Medicare doesn't.

If you're on Medicaid, Shield Healthcare will bill them for your diapers.

I can't see why he wouldn't be on Medicaid, since he gets SSDI.

You're in "medical respite." It doesn't make sense for them to throw you out because you go to the bathroom on yourself.

Don't they have medications for that sort of thing?

Yeah they should be used to and equipped to deal with such situations.

SSDI gets you Medicare, but not Medicaid. It's a federal program so should be the same in all states. I hope I can connect with someone who can help me figure out what he has. Most people don't know the difference between Medicare and Medicaid. It is confusing. I suppose California could choose to give SSDI recipients Medicaid. I'll have to look into it.

When enough things are going wrong in your life and with a limited capacity to understand, sometimes just not going backward is progress.

In simplest terms, if he makes $16,395 or less, he’s eligible for Medicaid in California. That’s 138% of the Federal Poverty Level for one person.

...Do I really
sound " Aspie-ish "? " Like Sheldon ", ha ha ha :? ? I'm not insulted if you think I do, whatever - do I? I always thought my accent was sorts " WASP-y " - perhaps a slightly New York-ish variant, given that I grew up 35 miles north of NYC proper - to parents who were both from Texas, actually, my mom born and raised in a pretty small-town area about 125?? miles east of Big D, getting broadcasts from Texarkana...

No, not like Sheldon at all. It's just conversational patterns that are difficult for me to articulate. It doesn't have anything to do with your accent :D which I didn't even notice.
