When I said chinchillas are the closest domesticated animal in the US to squirrels, I had forgotten about sugar-gliders which kinda resemble mini flying squirrels. I don't know much about sugar-gliders thou. I only seen one at a local pet store & I only seen it there 1ce which is probably why I forgot about em when I made that post.

If your mom has a bird feeder what’s keeping the squirrels out of it?They like mine well enough,always a couple out there.
The only problem I’ve had with squirrels is them eating my plums and figs off the trees.Not even fake snakes and a fake owl stops them.
