Well the ER doc said she came from plastic surgery so I think it should close up pretty well. The sutures didn't hurt at all after the lidocaine. Not so different from a bee sting.

I will be needing many squeezy balls though.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope it heals quickly. I did think when I clicked on the thread that there was going to be a picture.

I still have some pictures of one of my fingers that I crushed in some heavy machinery and I had assumed on the way to the hospital that they were going to have to amputate it. I've never posted the pictures because to most people they would be horrendously shocking.

^ I think it's probably safer not to post a pic ( Some jobsworth might report it ). Although, some people can get desensitized to images like that from just watching the news. The internet is really good at desensitizing.

Other people just find it fascinating.

I lean toward the squeamish side myself and most often avoid seeking out images that that I believe should remain shocking. I agree for those reasons that posting those types of pictures isn't a good thing.

Nobody wants to know the stuff I've seen. :[

Then you got lucky, having a doctor with just the expertise you needed in the ER room, instead of someone learning something new.

I'm feeling more & more that way. The splint is staying on for some time to go. I'm changing the gauze with a bunch of neosporin every day.

I need to munchie run & go watch something on cable.

I actually got the splint off. It's not 100% obviously but I'm typing with it now. No more bleeding that I've seen today.

I'm bored though. No one I know is around & I'm on antibiotics for two or three more days. Yuck. I'm going to coffee run in a minute.

When do you have to squeeze your balls

Haven't seen the orthopedic doctor yet. I just know that's inevitable when the sutures are removed.

The squeezy ball was already a necessary work supply. I have creaky programmer hands with some bike crash scars from before anyway. The same finger was crooked in square one here.

This is exactly the kind of luck I always had. I think that's somehow part of why people usually seem to be ignoring me on purpose. Nobody wants to think about my story, as it were. Out of sight, out of mind. I'm not aware of any other place to be.

That's rough dude , my fingers are starting to fail me due to old age , arthritis and injuries. Playing guitar is now even more painful.



You're still pretty young so being ignored smarts , if you are anything like me when you get older , being ignored can be bliss.
I'm not sure on this but I think I read that 'Out of sight, out of mind' is how a lot of people on the spectrum feel but also have that exact same mentality.

I'm trying to stay invisible right now. Not so sure I should go to work tomorrow. More alcohol would be nice but I recognize the stupidity of that statement. I just remembered to take some cephalexen. Yum.

It's just another panic attack, nothing new, just thousands of hours of studying on the line yet again & no one in my life really cares, or I guess that's why I'm alone right now anyway.

^ What happens if you don't go to work ? Will you get into trouble ? Can you get a sick note ?

On another note , how many different strains do you use? Do you have a strain for anxiety , a strain for pain etc
