I was thinking what it would feel like to be a tick. Umm. No idea. A silly thought I know.. :D

Thanks again everyone. I took Mr Dog to the vet yesterday where his wound was shaved once again, and sterilised. He received a vaccine for Lyme Disease. The vet said that the tick was surprisingly large but appeared intact, which is good (I took it in a jar). There was infection in the lump, so I'm still using a topical antibiotic in that spot. I have to take him back next week for a recheck. I could have sent the tick out for Lyme Disease testing, but apparently the vaccine will protect him regardless.

I love my dog and I'm really thankful for everyone's support.
