I know all too well what you’re going through, Fnord. I lost my father to cancer of the liver 33 years ago on August 19, almost 2 weeks before his 51st birthday.

What made it worse, #2 brother’s birthday (I have 3 younger brothers and a deceased sister) is on August 18, my mom’s birthday was on August 31 (she died November 11, eight years ago), Dad’s Birthday is September 2, my sister’s birthday (and my nephew, who is low functioning and non-verbal) is September 7, and Yours truly is September 8.

Even though Dad did everything in his power to make me look like a jackass most of the time, it still hurts like all hell. :shaking: Any wonder I never feel like celebrating anything at this time of year?
