If the TMS doesn’t help me, nothing else will.

I just looked up what TMS is. I would like it done to me.

I feel like I have the mental equivalent of internal bleeding but the treatment for it is being delayed.

Everyone above got me to google it, too. Am I the only one who thought it sounded a little scary? 8O

...Or maybe it's just me and my problem with magnets.

TMS is a LOT better than ECT. no memory loss, for one thing.

I am surprised my detractors haven’t been using the fact I am getting it against me.

Dude, I googled TMS, and it says it could take a couple of treatments for it to be effective.

Make sure you stick with it long enough for it to work.

Good luck.

If I also have to miss some days of work for it, I won’t let the bitter middle aged women and jerkish middle aged man I have to see at work stop me.

You should tell your boss now that you need those days off.

I fortunately don’t have to work on the day it happens for the first time but if I need it on a work day or if I get side effects, I am definitely telling her. I have put up with those bitter middle aged women for years so I deserve time away from them. I also can’t stand the middle aged men either except for one.

Well to be fair, you tend to sound extremely bitter too and they have to put up with you... pot calling the kettels black?

That's EXACTLY how you take charge of your life. Good for you!

My text book brought up the term learned helplessness. I’ve had others apply the term to me but I always feel resistant to it.

Have you tried Phenibut?
I used to be a introvert who was real nervous in a crowd of people and struggled around people. I Started taking it in 2007 and take it about 3 days a week

now I am a extrovert who knows how to have fun and make people laugh and I am very well liked by my peers.
