One night last week, it went down to freezing in Manhattan.

Autumn tends to have its "ups and downs."

What did it look like. Is it just like in the movies sparkly? Is it soft and squishy? Is it clean enough to eat? Ohhh what color was it: yellow? I never seen snow before in real life sorry. :)

Snow is white.

New York got a little sleet----but no snow this time.

Snow can be really beautiful----but it's a hassle to drive in!

I hope you feel better soon. I know you'll get over it just fine, as most people do.

I am a little paranoid because I've gone to feeling really cold to really hot throughout the night, but I don't know if it's just my body adjusting to the winter weather, as last night was the first cold night we've had since March here.

Getting tested takes a few days. It takes 1-2 days to get a test sent to you, then it takes up to 3 or 4 days to get the results, so what do you do during that time while you're waiting? Do you stay off work until you know the results? Will work pay you if you haven't been confirmed if you have COVID yet? I can't afford to lose any money. This is my main anxiety, especially throughout the winter months when I often experience peculiar feelings that are similar to a cold or flu coming on but not actually a cold or a flu (COVID can have the same symptoms in some people).

Little off topic , my husband and I used to feed humming birds in the desert , after a while they started coming around m and would follow ,him. Outside , and if he stood still they would come up close to his head . A few times and appear to be examining his head. Was privileged enough to witness this myself ..... it took me awhile to realize , it was because he was a redhead . Smiles ,,fond memories .

In the US, people aren't sent tests. They go to sites and take the tests there. Usually, one has to make an appointment online.

I took both the swab-nostril test and the saliva test. Negative.

Never had a positive COVID test, but was positive for antibodies.

My mother lost her sense of taste for a few hours. Alas, she didn't test positive from the antibodies test; I still have to worry about her more than if she was positive for antibodies.

How do you feel about emus, Angnix?
