If you haven't been to medical school, I don't know why you think you should be able to interpret those blood results. And this is even more true if you have been suffering from concussions, fainting spells, etc.

You're a person who likes to assert a lot of control, often by brute force or strength of will. But right now, you need to work with medical providers to figure yourself out and heal you. It's not a time to let your OCD dictate what you can eat - eat whatever the hospital provides you.

You don't know if you hit your head the last time you passed out. Let's say you did. Then you need REST, REST, and MORE REST.

You're right

Even with all my willpower my body is growing weak

Bones are feeling literally brittle.

This feels like hell

Hair is falling out

I'm feeling like a zombie

Even with all the pills they're giving me I barely feel alive

Please don't die. We would miss you.

Tell the doctors what you are experiencing. The more they know, the better.

And make sure the doctors know about your diet and how stringently you follow it.

I'm fighting to stay awake and not rest because I'm having severe anxiety if I rest I wont wake up

Actually I'm feeling a little better compared to 5 minutes ago but I'm still feeling weak and dizzy

I worry that if I sleep I'll grow weaker. Doctors telling me to rest but anxiety is telling me as soon as eyes close I wont open them

If you are hooked to monitors then the nurses will know immediately if your condition suddenly changes. You would get immediate medical attention.

In case you will be there over night you should be thinking about the food menu. Is there something on it you would prefer?

I was in the hospital in early March 2020, just before the Pandemic. They had me unconscious and intubated for 32 hours. Because of the intubation when I woke up I had extreme problems swallowing (and talking). I knew the hospital had good food but I had to keep ordering scrambled eggs because that was all I could swallow. It took two months for my throat to completely recover.

My cortisol was low too when I had an adrenal collapse (google Addison's).
ALT is likely unrelated.

You'll likely need to do a 24 or 48 hour urine collection.

I thought your original testing was supposed to be all day yesterday?

Blech. I hate fasting blood tests.

Maybe, after you get out of the hosptal, use it as an excuse to cheat on your diet a little bit. Get a big juicy burger. Thinking about it might help keep your spirits up.

I have severe OCD when it comes to only eating healthy. As in in my entire life I have very little if any memory of touching a drink that isnt water or special medicinal tea, and I avoid anything that isnt plain whole food. Dont get me wrong I dont enjoy what I eat but my OCD prevents me from touching food that I dont consider 100% healthy
you shared your diet not long ago. a similar homemade pescaterian one is had due to an absurd list of allergies, sensitivities, and condition triggers, while a glaring hole noticed after quite awhile was low intake of calcium from avoidance of dairy, along with commonly fortified foods. it’s not only important to bone, dental, and heart health, it’s evidently vital to regulation of just about everything in the brain... too little can even cause migraine or seizure activity. enough seems gotten now, but only for adding a supplement or some fortified orange juice to the opposite end of the day of the biggest meal of intake, while being sure to keep vitamin d levels good for optimal absorption.

you’re in the hospital a lot... maybe ask what your calcium levels are? you probably wouldn’t want to take a supplement without knowing, as too much flushed can lead to kidney stones.

Its a long story....

The long and short of it was technical difficulties, my own dumb brain forgetting what the doctors told me, and some cancellations led to everything getting postponed

I'm actually not pesca vegetarian, I only recommended it to Fnord as a compromise on the vegan thread

My calcium levels are fine, 8 mg/dL

This is more or less how I feel right now being crippled in the hospital and wondering if I'll ever get to pursue my athletic ambitions with these injuries:
