I was awake some last night and saw a rebroadcast of a basketball game played in Ohio and mostly attended by people in their late teens and early twenties. The arena was packed. None of the screaming fans was wearing a mask. The US is at the peak of its omicron surge unlike in the UK where the peak has passed. Of course these kids are probably all vaccinated. It's likely most have already been infected. Nobody seems to care.
