snake321, being lonely and mistreated does not mean you do not have any purpose. Maybe you're really good at art, math, or technology. You could educate people on the effects of bullying. Whatever you do, do NOT give up.

You should read about borderline personality disorder.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borderline_personality_disorder

I am curious. I have noted that on several peoples' posts, namely those showing an emotional response to being alone, you claim them to be bpd. But

1) Are any of us qualified to even guess at another's diagnosis without meeting them and having qualifications in Psychiatry?
And
2) Why does the fact that some here get distressed by their isolation automatically have to mean they have Bpd?
Bpd is not the only condition that can cause extreme emotional responses and a sense of being sick of being alone. Are you saying that anyone diagnosed as Aspergers who displays an extreme emotional response to being alone and who has trouble in relationships (which I thought was a common trait in Aspergers anyway) Is now Bpd and has a wrong diagnosis?

I am just curious as I have noted you mentioning the term before when replying to posts.

No I'm not qualified but when someone is off the charts in enough criteria for BPD I feel comfortable making that layman diagnosis.

It does not. I do not accept the premise that his isolation is his core problem.

criteria 1: Frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment

criteria 2: Recurrent suicidal behavior, gestures, threats, or self-mutilating behavior.

criteria 3: Impulsivity in at least two areas that are potentially self-damaging (e.g., spending, promiscuous sex, eating disorders, substance abuse, reckless driving, binge eating)

illegal drug use and using hookers. he said money was the limiting factor.

criteria 4: Inappropriate, intense anger or difficulty controlling anger (e.g., frequent displays of temper, constant anger, recurrent physical fights).

He had enough debates on WP that ended in flame wars and its even hinted at in the OP post were he mentions some of the past debates.

criteria 5: Identity disturbance: markedly and persistently unstable self-image or sense of self

"All my life, I have been made to think that I'm not good enough for basic human compassion, intimacy, or contact. Like I'm some sort of diseased freak of nature. I gather all my confidence that this ableist society has systematically beaten out of me,"

(5 out 9 is enough criteria).

From a practical stand point it explains his resistance in the past to treatments. Goto the thread on KenM in the adult section, another classic BPD.

I think its great that Snake321 wants radical change for the better in the next year. But he want do that with out the care of a doctor.

I note bpd like traits in some, but it is tricky really because a number of those with AS have been , from what I see, misdiagnosed as bpd in the past, and some with bpd have been diagnosed with AS...this seems especially prevalent in females. In some cases there seems to be such a crossover. It is confusing. I was just concerned that you are taking the whole aspie loneliness and desperation at the loneliness to be a sign of bpd as it seems such a common aspie issue, the constant failure at social interraction and resulting despair.

So a sex starved, intinately starved man goes to get a prosititute because it's the only way this man can get what he seeks, and somehow this is a sympton?
Do we call reading in brail a symtom of blindless?

Yes I'd like to think that is my core problem, and the European Union would gladly back me up on that statement.

Your impulsiveness is strong enough to over ride your logic. Logic would tell others they might be arrested or they are at increase risk of STD's. I'm assuming if you won the lottery you would be knee deep in hookers. :) I'm not arguing with you just trying to give an outside looking in opinion to your situation.

Yes well that is a risk but it's a risk I've been willing to take. All animals are programmed to have sex drives, this isn't a want but a need. This has already been studied and proven, in a field recognized by the EU and the UN, called sexology. It's what pushes evolution, to pass on one's seed so to speak.
So is a starving ethiopian a glutton if his government tells him he's not allowed to eat, so he secretly buys food illegally? Point is, if it weren't for those escorts, I would have probably already killed myself.

besides, most escorts are clean, they use safety precautions such as condoms and what not. I don't do anything with a diseased girl. An escort is very different than a street hooker.

The point is a doctor will see it as a criteria for impulsiveness. And impulsiveness is one possible criteria for BPD. When you have depression to the point of suicide and you have extreme black and white thinking of rejecting medical intervention thats classic BPD.
Like Graelwyn said I have made this diagnosis of several people here. They all have the same basic problem of making suicide threat threads, and then arguing against medical intervention.

One guy comes to mind that I even offer a place to stay rent free because he said he was about to be homeless. He stopped posting
shortly after that. He also refused to try medications(I offered him the money for them). I'm not putting myself in that emotional draining situation of begging a person with BPD to not harm themselves. I would say 100% have rejected my suggestions and real world help.

So, what is the problem?

If the escorts are providing what you need, then why kill yourself?

well I can't exactly afford escorts on a regular basis, I'm lucky if I get to see one every other month. Money is the issue there.
Going on any prescription medicine means I'd have to stop smoking weed and then go totally straight-edge, I'm not willing to do that. Weed is the only thing that gives me temporary mental stability with all my problems, for a brief moment in time it takes my problems away and allows me to just enjoy being alive.
I'm doing much better today, I'm not all that depressed right now. I'm sure I'll go through plenty more ups and downs but for the moment I'm up, and that's a good thing.

Snake, I know what it is like to feel rejected.

You will get through this.

The key is to understand that happiness does not come from other people. It has to come from you.

It is good to have a companion, but in the end, all you need is to love yourself; to feel content just to be you, free from the need for other people.

I am convinced that is what you need; to realize that you are not dependant on other people.

It is this feeling of dependance that hurts so much; not the solitude in itself.

How much do you pay for these escorts? You might actually be coming out ahead with the escorts over conventional dating. Conventional dating can also be expensive, and you are not assured of getting any sex.

I knew someone who used to fly regularly to Toronto to enjoy the company of strippers.

If you're in Phoenix, you could probably pop down to Mexico for the occasional wild weekend in a border town, I should imagine.

If you like drugs and prostitutes, then Southeast Asia would be the place for you.

You wouldn't get it, no offense but your female, if you want a guy you can probably get a guy. I am the man, I have to do all the courting and make all the initial effort. And I doubt you know more than the European Union, or the United Nations, both of whom confirm my statement that sexuality is a major part of human growth and is not a mere "want". So if you don't believe me, ask them. Or ask the Netherlands, they just made prostitution legal in a surrogacy service in those places to accomodate the disabled.

You might say "yeah but some people choose not to have sex", yeah and some women also choose not to eat, theyr called anorexics.
